Students were awesome, good job shivvyman starting this thread so that they could be recognized. The 9000 tix sold are 1000 more student passes than last season and 3400 more than the 2009 season.

yeah in fairness to the students, they're still Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!), and going to games, but they don't understand spacing at all. The isles were crammed with people. They didn't want to move over. I think was closer to the 4th when it started to clear out a bit.

They obviously don't care enough to fill it up. We are just losing money selling those discounted tickefs to students who don't bother showing up. Shame on you, students.

They've always been that way. They're absolutely terrible seats and in recent history those seats actually have been resold as GA seating, often times still not selling out. The entire addition of that section was a mostly bad idea and I hope they turn it into angled seating for part of our lower bowl. :love:

I still think KSU messed up when they eliminated the secondary market for student tickets, by issuing the card instead of a ticket for each game. You're always going to have people that can't make it one week, for whatever reason, and if they can't sell their ticket you're guaranteeing empty seats.

Yeah. I was only talking about basketball. I agree. Doesn't make sense coming off a 3-game winning streak. We shouldn't have more students at ISU and WVU than TCU.

IIRC enrollment peaked around 23k but has been dropping for the past 4 or 5 years (as most schools in Kansas saw) and is back to around 20/21k
