there's one flying around me right now just out of reach.  he buzzes my head every once in a while and I swear to christ I can hear him laughing at me.  I'm about one fly-by away from dedicating the rest of my morning to catching him just so I can tear his wings off...and then his legs...and then probably drown him.

What is the state of Kansas' thought on alimony these days?  2 young people (27ish) cohabiting a house (don't know how the mortgage is signed) wherein the man is the sole breadwinner, supporting the woman's ever increasing educational forays (obtaining a pud WSU degree after 10 years of higher education, this fall)... we thinking 50/50 split here? any recurring payments?

I had a friend who was married 7 years. She only had part time/short duration jobs through the whole marriage; no kids. (I.e. no reason for her not to have a job). She got alimony for a year. Not sure of all the other settlement details, but she still lives in the house they bought together.

let's not have this very important thread turn into a divorce thread.

that being said, the general rule in kansas is to equally split all assets and liabilities accrued during the marriage. since they were only married for 2 years there will likely be little to no alimony due.

rapper name probably something like dillicious and I'd be a mix of D'angelo, bone thugs and ice cube. basically nate dogg but better.

it's pretty simple rusty, i only link /accept links from people i have a professional working relationship with and who can attest to my qualifications.  do you have any other rough ridin' questions, dumbass?

Usually the inquiry comes with a, "Hey, you interested in this job I'm trying to fill?" So that is kind of the start of a professional working relationship, is it not?

I like the idea of a scotch omelet because it's just so ridiculous.  I mean gross.  Sounds like he would be a really fun DJamer.  Going in you know he's a pretty solid dude and you're in good hands with a name like that.  You expect that you're going to have a good time and thus you do.  Self-fulfilling prophecy for the audience.

that was originally my thought process with djdo (DJamer denver omelet). then DJamer scotch bonnet is the hot DJamer that really just gets the party turned up. idk. maybe back to the old DJamer drawing board. also not a bad DJamer name.

The thing about clams is that he doesn't even have taste buds.  His secret shame.  That's why he's always professing to like things that anybody with a functioning tongue in their head knows would be awful and are in fact awful.  "Hey let's get some peppermint flavor in this oreo, because that's what tastes good. Hydrox cookie flavor and rough ridin' peppermint. Later I'm going to put some mayonnaise on some saltines, because I don't know crap about flavor combinations."  This charade has to end.

The great thing about losing weight is all you have to do is burn more calories than you take in.  If your overweight take your fat ass to the gym and do something about it.  If you're injured and can't work out I hear making yourself throw up works pretty well.  Also, thyroid issues can be treated with medication.

also,
14.  Endorsements

Do you ever accept connections from people you don't know? I pretty much only accept recruiters I don't know. :driving:

is there like an auto-endorse thing or something?  the same two people at work (at an office 1,300mi away) - one i've never met/emailed/called and one who i met once on his last day, keep endorsing me for stuff regularly.  like, several times a week for a couple of months now.  i'd swear it's a goddamned robot or something.  i won't even check what they're endorsing me for because it's crazy to me.  i wonder if HR should drug test them or something?

It bothers me a lot when people wrong on the left side of the sidewalk or hallway or when they open the left hand door of an entry/exit instead of the right. when the left hand door of our office was broken for a week awhile back it was like "who cares" as I cruised into the office each morning. but, when exiting the building, it was the right hand door and I had to use the door on the left. very troubling.

During WWII the Brits had an idea to disguise little plastic explosive bombs like dead rats and place them in German coal supplies in the hopes they would be shoveled into boilers and blow them up and slow down the industrial production behind the war machine.

What could possibly go wrong?  Why not disguise bombs as coal?

So I left my phone at home today.  I am now at work where I obviously have computer and phone access but not my cell for texts etc.  I am about 15-20 min from home depending on traffic.  As of now, I dont plan on going home to get it.

If you were to get to work and not have your phone with you what would you do?

why do visuals make a song so much better or is it vice versa??..
A song can seem better to me if it comes at a pivotal or emotional part of a movie or show.. or even if its just cool as crap.. like this song and dance moves in oceans twelve is so awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyzLHFkdv6E

what other songs stick out in your mind because of a movie or show??.. another one that immediately comes to mind was last seasons new girl finale when nick and jess finally kissed :swoonsville: and I always knew by the vaccines played http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfgYVtNWXH8 wowza

Dashboard Confessional's "Stolen" plays when Elliot gets engaged and JD is very sad about it while everyone is celebrating, and now it makes me extra sad when I hear it. Also, "Little Things" by Jimmy Eat World plays at the end of season 1 in Shameless and so that song makes me extra sad too.

It's not very practical.  How often do you have one of your bros pick you up by your feet while another bro holds your top up?  Not very.  What is the pretext on that?  What do you tell the guy you're about to ass ram his face to get him to pick your feet up?  What if the bro you do it to gets really pissed during and decides to punch you in the dickandsack as payback?  I'm mean you're wide open there, practically begging for an upper cutty to the bag.  I wouldn't risk it for a little ass to face action.

Has it been a year already? Wow! I guess that's what 8 hours a day of immersive TV will do for you! Many of you have expressed your eagerness for an update. Well, here goes.

Generally, the Samsung has held up beautifully. We have noticed a little bit of lag, mostly in multi-player gaming--but not enough to cost us any firefights. There have been some issues up-imaging low rez content, but that's to be expected when you early-adopt--we're still "waiting on the world to change," as John Mayer would say (gosh he's talented.) On the plus side, we feel like we are now officially part of the cast of GOT. The other night Peg almost had to open a window to let Daenerys' dragons fly out!

And you'll all be happy to know our darling Amanda is back with us, safe and sound. She has changed a little. She's less talkative than before (though she had some choice words for me when I asked her to clean her room). And she's started wearing eye make-up, which has Peg a bit concerned. But welcome to thirteen, I guess. We're just glad to have her home. And she loves the TV. That's the main thing. In fact, she spends so much time in front of it lately, you'd swear she owns it.

You left out the rest of the review. Kudos to James T. for following up. Glad to hear that he's still enjoying the TV after the 1-year warranty expired.

I may start listening to dubstep simply because of this description.

Last night I watched a documentary on KCPT about the reintroduction of wolves to the US.  There was a scene where a big truck was hauling wolves into Yellowstone Park through the North Gate, this one...

(https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F4.bp.blogspot.com%2F--uEpDsgXYtA%2FUZ55WMGEeeI%2FAAAAAAAABWU%2FWzhGmqc-DDo%2Fs1600%2FDay%252B2%252BMammoth%252BHot%252BSprings%252B%2526%252BTower%252BArea%252B106.JPG&hash=bdc6d8f856a141b48e472c9eabf2ba6a73cb54f6)

The reintroduction was and still is very controversial.  I fantasized being a Montana rancher, full of emotion at the scene, and standing in the way of the truck like that Chinese guy did at Tiananmen Square.  Obviously I'd be arrested and forced to pay a fine, but I bet I could drink for free for the rest of my life.  It would also make for some iconic photography and symbolism over the entire ordeal.  Someone could have defined their entire life had they done that at the time.  It was a missed opportunity for sure.  Anyway, I hope I (and you all) don't miss my (your) opportunity like these folks did.

An English setter named Shadow Oak Bo won the bird dog National Championship for the second year in a row.  Before last year, the last time a setter won at all was 40 years ago, and you'd have to go back to 1902 for the last time a setter won back-to-back.  The competition is always dominated by English pointers.  Anyway, this is like the Cubs winning the World Series two years in a row.  Incredible.

How many different competitions do they have for champion bird dogs?  I ask because we used to raise brittany's when I was growing up and rumor was one or two of the pups turned into some kind of champion.  I always asked my dad wtf they were talking about.  Usually had a reply of wtf are you asking me like I know for.

There are tons of competitions, probably thousands a year.  Some are "open" where any breed can compete, some are breed specific, some you have to qualify to run in, etc.  There are even different circuits with different rule sets and standards.  This stake is certainly the biggest and most elite of all of them.  I think only one brittany ever has competed for the national championship.  Since about 1900 the field is at least 3/4's English pointers and 1/4 English setters, and recently it's been even more extreme.  For example in a 40 dog field this year there were only two setters that qualified to run.

Has UPS sucked for you guys lately?  The last two times I've ordered something online it just sits there for days and days.  :curse:

For example:

Order placed 3/7
Shipment Progress
Location   Date   Local Time       Activity
Jacksonville,
FL, United States
03/08/2014    6:06 A.M.       Arrival Scan
Naples,
FL, United States
03/07/2014    9:43 P.M.       Departure Scan
United States
03/07/2014    11:14 A.M.       Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Shipping Information
To:
LENEXA,KS,US

Another example, order placed 2/28:

I no longer have the feed, but it came from Wisconsin, went to Chicago, sat there for a couple days.  Left once and immediately returned to the same place.  Showed up 3/5.  Normally they are nails but lately they suck in my experience.

I've known about this company for awhile now but was just waiting for a sale, which they do have this weekend for St. Patty's day. They have all different kinds of licensed and themed items but I got the KSU cats version of course. They seem to be a great up and coming company that have cool products you can actually use too. Just ordered this and thought I would share.

Have we talked about bronies before?  Just as fascinating to me as the ICP juggalos.

So what was your take?  I guess my main question, are these folks otherwise normal contributing members of society and just weird as eff on the weekends?

they were just dorks that were obsessed with my little pony stuff instead of something like sports or death metal or video games.  didn't seem that strange to me - juggalos seem WAY more "all-in" IMO

(my exposure was only from that documentary and i don't know any actual bronies)

howard stern has talked about bronies before. he also discussed something called a "clopper" which is someone with a sexual attraction to the little ponies. stern says that all bronies are closet cloppers, bronies HATE stern as a result.

source: my friend who used to listen to howard stern every single day.

There is no rough ridin' reason my internet should slow down during the evening. No rough ridin' reason. It's rough ridin' 2014 and just like move the bandwidth from the other times of the day that the network isn't flooded into around this time. eff this crap. It's the rough ridin' 21st century + 14 years. I expect rough ridin' fast internet not this stupid rough ridin' dial-up speed internet right now. For Christ's sake, rough ridin' figure it out IP provider.
