Dr. Pepper and it isn't close

A regular season basketball title is almost a bigger deal these days. there's so much parity in a crapshoot playoff that final fours just don't mean that much any more.

I enjoy the sport of basketball more.  So Final 4 for me.

Dr. Pepper in football, gotta go with what makes the cash flow.

Final Four is an excuse to kick back and party.

Dr. Pepper is an excuse to kick back and party and also pays the eff out of our bills.

Not much of a decision.

Dr. Pepper, at least as far as the OP is worded. Other question would be: what is better, a FB DP or a national BB championship?

basketball sucks in its current form and football success is much more impressive/relevant

Since Dr. Peppers are becoming the norm, I would pick FF right now.  That's something I haven't seen in my lifetime and would be fun to attend.  Once I get one out of my system we can go back to winning Dr. Peppers (constantly).

A DP > Hoops NC by a large margin

I enjoy the sport of basketball more.  So Final 4 for me.

If the question is personal enjoyment,  then this its the right answer.

football is more of a game for savages to watch versus basketball which is more of a game for intellectuals and persons of great character to enjoy.

I would take a Texas state championship in football over a FF.

You've got to be good over an entire season to win a dr pepper.  You've got to be good over a couple weeks for a FF.  And you may play some pud teams to get there.

a top 25 conference win in football > a ff imo

football, you're always one lucky bounce away from a win, versus basketball where all speed and strength must be working in concert to achieve maximum results.

I think Harley Day alone is by far more exciting than going to the Final Four would be.  But that's just one guy's opinion

I understand the right answer is football for a lot of reasons, but if all else could be equal(great facilities, great rev, etc) I would trade having a great FB team for a great BB team in less than a heart beat.

No comparo.

I love watching both but basketball is a much more enjoyable sport.

If America could give any less of a eff about basketball, I would love to see it because right now no one cares.  It is like a yawn showdown.

yeah, it's like, "hey! a cindarella story team! just like multiple times every season in this pud sport!"

Half the teams in the Final Four are quite a bit worse than previous previous teams that didn't sniff the Final Four. That tells you a lot.

More important to us or more important to the world?  Either way I'd have to answer "yes."

Not that I'd trade a Pepper for it, but a College World Series appearance/win would be pretty fun

Quick, can you name who was in the FF last year? Exactly. Can you name the winner of each BCS game lat year? Exactly. I can't do either, so that decides nothing for me. maybe it will help you though.

With only a couple of exceptions, the most financially viable BCS athletic departments are one's with good football programs.

It's really a no brainer.

I am not even sure that Colleges even still put on a Wold Series...

Football has way more strategy/schemeing than the game of basketball has. So, more intellectuals watch football.

Sometimes, the mental gymnastics required to watch football make me want to veg out and watch basketball.

True, no lucky 18/20 three point shooting in the game of football.

Elite football programs (Mich, UF, Ohio St, ect) buy FFs every once in a while just from boredom.  Meanwhile, elite basketball programs can barely field a football team.  The best basketball team in the state can't even afford a football team...think about that.  The reason we have the best combo of revenue sports, is that we put football first...when you get rich, basketball success just comes.
