I'll go first:
My favorite Boise State memory was when that running back proposed to the cheerleader and then all the fans started going crazy because it was an interracial marriage and they didn't approve.

My favorite was when they ran that statue of liberty play against Oklahoma. It was just so cool because I want to believe that Broncos head coach Chip Kelly drew that play up in the dirt on the field.

My favorite memory is Boise state made it to the final of the 2011 CBI tourney. I know it was a tough loss, but the kids fought so hard I just knew it would be a moment they could build on.

My favorite memory is Boise state made it to the final of the 2011 CBI tourney. I know it was a tough loss, but the kids fought so hard I just knew it would be a moment they could build on.
And here they are...they've turned that national exposure they got from the '11 CBI into the play in game of the 2013 NCAA's. Really a heart warming story.

Funny story on this and a little history: Blount's Ducks had lost to BSU the season before at Autzen. He was quoted in SI over the summer saying that the Ducks owed the Broncos an ass whoppin . Then they came to BSU and got completely dominated by the BSU D. Blount was held to negative yards rushing for the game putting his college carreer total back below 1000 yards and cost his team a safety. Hout makes the comment regarding the ass whooping and we have the lovely video of the result. Blount then went on to swing on his teammates and coaches and BSU fans in the stands. He then gets kicked off of the Ducks team and loses out on most of his senior season. Sadly they let him back with a game left and he got back above 1000 yards for his career. What a hilarious waste of talent on a lovely human being. :lol: Cherry on top: He was replaced on the Bucs by a BSU running back. :cheers:

Not sure some of you understand the difference between Boise State and several other small time non-AQ schools.
Just be sure you look up the memory and verify its actually Boise State because sometimes mistakes happen and those schools are mostly the same, you know?

When I think of Boise State, I think of some guy picking potatoes so he can save up enough money to go to their football game where head coach Gary Patterson leads the way. I don't think of small timey basketball, but maybe it's because they are large timey basketball? Maybe I should think of them more as TCU's little brother. That wouldn't work though because they don't reside in the same state. Wait, what state do they reside in? Is it another California school?

Gotta give them credit. Being that close to TxTech, UNM, and fighting OU and Okie Lite in state, it's gotta be tough to recruit to the panhandle. Props to them for being a Div 1-AA school.

My favorite memory of Boise is the great potato famine of the 1970's, and they sent all their Irish to the USA, where they were welcomed as part of the Mariel boat lift in Miami. I think Frank Martin's cousins were in that refugee flotilla, and they're all doing well in south Florida. It's an uplifting story.

My favorite memory of Boise State was when O'Boises potato chips were discontinued for sucking balls and taints and ballsacks. Oh and they had the word Boise in the name, probably why nobody bought them.

One of my dad's brothers used to live out in Seattle and we used to drive out and see him every summer when I was little.
Anyways I will always remember when we got close to Boise my dad would get really excited and we would drive like 120 for a while, because they have no speed limits there.
