Weren't there some attempts by the AD to name the student section at BSFS?  I'm shocked none of those caught on, but I'm sure sandaggie has enough street cred to make Kliff "the swagger" Kingsbury catch on.

Imagine if he was your older cousin. That would be cool. Or like if he was your older sister's boyfriend, but was really nice to you, and would hang out with you and play NBA Jam while your sister got ready for their date. I bet he would do stuff like that, and even give you a sweet nickname like "Cobra" or something. Your parents would totally approve of him taking your sister to the movies too because he's really great with them and always looks them in the eye.

Also yes Tobias, I want to be on his team.

guys I for real need some advice.  The other day at work I was discussing the TCU/TTU game.  I offered that the reason TCU lost was because they were too busy staring at the dream boat on the opposite sideline.  Everyone started questioning my sexuality and I was like "um, wut?  Why do I have to be gay to acknowledge the glaringly obvious fact that KK is a complete a total stud boss?" And they just kept going on about how I must be gay or something.

I really just feel bad for the ignorant bad people that I work with.  I'm not (yet) in the position to fire them for being bad people and thus I will be forced to work and interact with them for the foreseeable future, but mostly I just feel bad for them because they are so caught up in their own sexual insecurity that they can't acknowledge what a credit KK is to football/head coaching.

Is there anything I can do to help them?  Can they see the light or are they doomed to just be bigoted poop faces?

tia

Could be.  I think he tries too hard.  maybe that email about converting him to Hollywood is what makes me think that but then he had to go try and photo bomb Jesse Palmer.  It was obvious he was looking for a camera.  Also, he appears to have some front rat teeth.

Absolutely.  :bill:   <-- cept with Melton's face, a purple stretchy crew neck, sunglasses, etc.

Maybe we can get him on a 5 year plan or something. Lets get him a Jr. High/Sr. High gig stat, move him into a Junior college role in 2 years, D2 in 3 years, D1 assistant in 4 years, takes over the Cats shortly after.

We just need to start Sams and play him the entire game and we win by 20. I think we still win even if we play both QBs, which is a good thing, because that is what we'll do.

Texas Tech has reinstated freshman DB Nigel Bethel after he was cleared of felony assault charges.

We are shocked, and anyone else who saw the video of the incident online likely is as well. Bethel punched a member of the Texas Tech women's basketball program during a game of pickup ball. Amber Battle did initiate the contact after a rebound and the two could be seen exchanging words before the punch was thrown, but this is still surprising. Texas Tech did announce that Bethel has been suspended for three games this season. The defensive back was a four-star recruit.

There was plenty of substance, kim is saying that it is way too early to act like hiring him was a mistake especially given he took that team to a bowl last year. I think Kliff was/is going to be a good head coach, but I think he was hired a little too early.  I'm unsure how big of a network he had to get good assistants that he trusted.

I think a few more years with Sumlin, or better yet, going to another program and coach, would have benefited him.

TCU's stadium is so un-intimidating!!

They just interviewed Kingsbury on his weekly Sirius XM91 segment. They drug a defeated and downtrodden Kingsbury on today and basically asked him to compliment TCU.  They asked him what makes Fort Worth such a tough place to play and he answered that "it's the most aesthetically pleasing the stadium you're going to play in"

So, they thought that their signals had been compromised before the game, but did not change them?  How f'n stupid is he?  Are the kids too stupid at TTU to learn a new set of signals during the season?

Heck, if I thought they were compromised and I was the coach, I'd use it to my advantage by sending out signals to lure the other team into the wrong play calls.

Very low-value/butt-hurty by him.

Snyder would never care about something so petty. Klit Kingsbury looked like he really cared.

i just think tech sucks (and i also think arkansas sucks, for that matter) and i think it's low rate for coaches to be taking personal shots like that disirregarldessly of the context or who started it.

the results spoke for itself.  tech DID whip arkansas's ass yesterday, but all of the focus is on what kliff said after the game.  just seems very immature.

Kliff just had a fantastic ad for Texas Tech's offense targeted at Texas coaches and recruits blasted all over sportscenter and the internet. No one would have talked about tech beating fat Bert's shitty team otherwise.

It's a great recruiting tactic. Plus he looks very handsome in a suit.

I think that's pretty much over. They were picked 8th in the conference, I haven't seen or heard anything about him regionally or nationally since they crap the bed last year. Two seasons ago they deserved every bit of hype they got.

They deserved all the hype they got for beating SMU, Stephen F Austin, TCU, Texas State, Kansas, Iowa State and West Virginia before giving up 38, 52, 49, 63, and 41 in losses to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Baylor, and Texas to close out the season 7-5 (4-5)?  That team cleaned up on a bunch of rummies before getting embarrassed for half the season.

Hey dumbshit, in your photographic memory of Texas Tech game results do you have recall of the circumstances of why that job was available? How about the circumstance of that West Virginia win?
