What a blow hard. I fear for the life's of those kids.
-
frank's career would be absolute garbage if it weren't for k-state.
-
why won't it play for me :(
-
He's a MONSTER!
-
man he really hated working for john currie
-
"We lead the country in air ball lay ups"
-
listening to this (pretending he's still at k-state) is more comforting than listening to oscar talk about a win
-
forgot about that kentucky game
-
Lucky SC fans. It's like Fort Hays State almost every game.
-
Wow. Just wow.
-
I don't recall him munching on Jolly Ranchers or whatever while he was here. New thing?
-
I've coached junior high kids
A minute in and I'm already thinking "Never change Frank. Never change."
-
I don't recall him munching on Jolly Ranchers or whatever while he was here. New thing?
ppl find outlets when they quit drinking or smoking. This season has too be super stressful for him since he's proven how much of a fraud he is. Jolly ranchers are the only thing holding him back from the bottle.

Nostalgic Beasley story at the end. :frown:
-
funny thing......funny thing
-
christ, frank. can't take him seriously while he's messing with whatevers in his mouth.
-
Frank Martin sucks, would be super embarrassed if he coached the Wildcats.
-
Losing to K-State is 10x worse without Frank Martin coaching the Cats. Love him.
:ksu: <---but with a South Carolina "C" logo.

why didn't you? Idiot.

Also, LOL @ the career trajectories since Frank and Johnny Jones last met.
-
"If I had guys like Jacob Pullen, Rodney McGruder...etc." "Then we would have a chance to win."
-
I just miss the Stan interviews at half/end of the game. Did not matter what the question was, the response seemed like it always started with " Ya, i meen" or "You know Stan" and then he would say something hilarious or briliant
-
"If I had guys like Jacob Pullen, Rodney McGruder...etc." "Then we would have a chance to win."
Our 19-5 is just killing him

Likely. He seemed wistful in his presser.
-
"Based on what your'e seeing , do you think you've lost these guys?"
"If I've lost them, they better disappear. (...) if I have lost them, they better figure out where home is at because it's not going to be here."
:surprised:
-

Thinking you never should have left, Frank?

And he could do it too, cause he's Frank Martin! Man, what a complete boss.

He didn't quit drinking.

That was outstanding.

Lucky SC fans. It's like Fort Hays State almost every game.
man, i melted down so hard after that game. good times. and then the run we went on after that game up until the mu game was dreamy.
-
USC beatwriter blog, lots of good stuff in here if you scroll through the articles: http://blog.postandcourier.com/spur-of-the-moment/
-
I had a real :sdeek: moment when Frank was naming his former players. :peek:

When asked to describe what was missing in his team's performance:
"Effort, enthusiasm, desire, focus, toughness, discipline. I'm running out words here."
"A couple guys on out team, their manhood is going to get challenged now. Either they're going to step up and join us or they're going to break and quit. I don't know, that's on them."
"I don't send messages with playing time to anybody. I play guys that deserve to play. Guys that don't deserve to play, I'm not going to play them."
He had some seemingly sarcastic words when asked about Henriquez.
"He had the sniffles. Since he couldn't go to class and couldn't practice with the sniffles, he didn't deserve to play."
-

Yeah, it's always fun when Frank does his Huggs impersonation.
-
Frank Martin, was and is, the second best thing ever to happen to KSU basketball. What's the best thing you ask, obviously it is Tex Winters

Yes, without Huggins, there is no Frank.
I think a lot of credit goes to Pullen as well. Frank needs a Pullen at SC. Pullen was able to take Frank's heat and then became the bridge from Frank to the team starting his SO year. Plenty of other impact player like Clemente, Samuels, Kelly, but IMO Pullen was a key for Frank being able to build and sustain at K-State after Beasley. If he can find a guy or two like that at SC he'll be really good there, I'm not sure that guy is there yet.
-
Embroidered SC logo on cuff needs a mention.
-
yes, the cuff is great. frank is a gamecock through and through.
-
that TT loss was pat knight's first win has hc

Thats MsCougar There is more to Frank than meets the eye. As a parent of one of these players it was more about him and the AD than him and the players. Head Coaching can't always be like the lovely man who is the head coach of the football team. He is an enigma. He is the exception NOT THE RULE! Most Head Coaches in any sport LIE to YOUR FACE and your kids face. I and my son and I have had to learn that. But I will say this, I never had to talk to the AD E-V-E-R until oscar Weber and please remember that Frank Martin suspended my son. Yes hindsight is 20-20 but you may have another basketball head coach in 2 years. You never know. Here is what I do know the alumni at KSU is FANTASTIC and I know that my son is proud of his school and his team and will be an exceptional and loyal alumnus as well regardless of his treatment by Weber and the AD his Senior year. His character does not change because of his treatment by others. He has gotten a great education and has learned more than just academics and has made more than just friends!
:surprised:
:bwpopcorn:
-
started its own thread since it doesn't really have a lot to do with the video
-
Man. I miss Frank's hyperbole so much. "Never in my 28 years have I been more embarrassed to be a basketball coach."
:frown: It was all so fun.
-

Oh man, I hope this gets as good as when Taybron's girlfriends mom was posting!

He has really low zombie movie IQ. Also, he looks like 15 years older since I last saw him.

Yeah, plus in the new zombie movies/shows those things are pretty relentless. Seems like he's want a bunch of brain starved zombies out there going after oboards and drawing contact.
-
He should have just said "Night of the Zombies" or something instead of stammering on like he did.
-
This thread really delivered after fanning stopped posting, get it together man

not exactly what i meant, but didn't figure anyone on here would get it.

Frank Martin is the Charlie Weis of CBB. Decent enough recruiter, brings false hope to a program, and is about 2 years from getting driven out to the middle of nowhere and disposed of.
Also what a slimy guy. Saying you don't trust your players isn't gonna fix nothing.

Institutional level of Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) here
-
All I know is Frank should be the spokesman for whatever candy he was workin on. I mean he sucked that thing so hard for the better part of 5 minutes. Wonder what it was?

We really need a minor league board where posters can get their numbers up and practice their skills without embarrassing themselves on the big stage like this.
