Also someone needs to head this ticket thing(me :confused: trim :confused: ) or we need to figure out what we're doing. I was going to scrounge some up from ISU but it looks like we're going to roll deep, I'll ask about group tickets but these people really hate us.
I look forward to accommodating everyone who wants to come, I'll give details via PM later this week for anyone who plans on coming. This has the very real potential of being an amazing road pak'r. Not quite Vegas but I think we can take Chicago.

Once everyone pays my paypal account for the tickets I claim we will get the tickets. Let's get this done by this afternoon so it can be settled. I can't set up the group until I have email address for everyone interested, so I'm setting a 4PM deadline for your email addresses before I send the group invites out. If you have friends that want in but they may not be keeping up to date on this thread, pm me their email address.

Another went on a diatribe about how they're better than us, and they didn't choose us to be their rival, so we're not rivals.
This makes me proud as every single one of these things I said. Once again this guy was so offended but not offended enough to try and do anything about it.

Third one was the most fun for the night, but I would probably never go there if I lived in Ames.

The guy who knocked my hat down & than ran away like a lil bitch crap himself when Gooch & Trim chased him down. Later he came up to apologize and I mushed him away. Then his friend started to try and suck me off by telling me how great Jake Waters was and that he went to school, I said I didn't care and Dsams is going to rape them.
I had the goEMAW flag during the altercation. They try to make it sound like I didn't get very far, but I did. Their security usher was a pussy and didn't have anything to say to me.

The ISTATEO versions of these stories are entertaining, though. I think the only parts that were true is that some guy knocked Fanning's hat off and that fanning and Nicname trolled the entire stadium with a flag run. Someone did try to take both of their flags. Both attempts were unsuccessful. And that guy that hit Fanning's hat ran for the hills as soon as he did it. When I got over there to see Trim PIing the dork, he was backpedaling (literally walking backwards) and apologizing as much as possible. Also, the only ISU fan in the entire stadium who had any balls was some 65 year old lady who said she had fun and we were great. I don't think the fans around us "liked" us, but they had to pretend to because they didn't have the luxury of distance like the pussies two sections over.
Luckily for them, though, the town made roughly 80% of its yearly sales tax revenue with us EMAW elites in town. Ames was on the verge of shanty town, and now they can afford to make some much-needed repairs.

Their posting style is exactly how they act. They have plenty of corny things to say from a distance but the insecurity prevents them from having real conversations. There were two people who had conversations with us all weekend, an ISU grad in the restaurant on Friday night who lived in Manhattan and no longer lives in Ames and the second was a guy sitting next to us who went to ISU but professed to be an Illinois fan. This is no coincidence, these people are scared of outside interaction. I was in Ames until 7 PM last night, in my gE gear and I didn't hear a peep from anyone. I come on here and read all of this anonymous gum flapping, its hilarious.

So we go to eat pizza at a spot on main street, the same main street with the power plant/trash burning facility pictured earlier in this thread. We're eating and behind us there is a guy talking very loudly but monotone for like 10 minutes straight about the keys to winning the game. I thought someone was being interviewed on the radio but it was just a dude talking to his wife and kids who just wanted to eat pizza.

Those guys were sitting behind me and they were being jerks the whole game. They called Bubu a "rapist." One of them claimed they didn't care about the loss. (I know that I drive four hours to watch something I don't care about.) They also said to enjoy the NIT. (Dude, K-State has one more win than ISU.) Another went on a diatribe about how they're better than us, and they didn't choose us to be their rival, so we're not rivals.
was likely the guy who was yelling at Tay when he got hurt at the end of the first half taking that horrible charge call. The guy was bald and all red faced yelling, GET UP GET UP, and we're jerks. I told him to show some class and asked him if the last flood washed away his manners, he didn't even turn around. He had the courage to yell at an injured student athlete 250 feet away but couldn't step up to someone talking to him 20 feet away.
BTW all of these people crowing about class, etc booed Tay, not the refs but booed Tay. He was on the ground for a while and then the video board showed him sitting up and a large majority of the crowd booed, they have pent up but misplaced anger.

The first two bars we went to were pretty unremarkable, cheap drinks though and the first was cash only :sdeek: The second bar we went to was better than the first, Trim, Gooch, and I were sitting at the bar when a very attractive blonde came and stood between Trim and I to order drinks. Us, not being socially awkward and afraid of people, chatted her up. She said she was an ISU cheerleader and she thought we were K-State basketball players. I shut down the basketball player thing because I thought she was lying about being a cheerleader. Anyhow we ended up talking her for about 15 minutes while an unnamed member of our group who claims to be a filly slayer continued to talk to dudes while this beautiful blonde had her entire focus on our group. Well the conversation ended and aside from this girl and the large bucket of dumdum pops on the bar we had exhausted all we needed from this stop.
We then went to a dance club, accidentally leaving Nicname at the previously spot alone, sorry bro and HT to k_m and scottwildcat for going to get him. As soon as we got there we encountered a group of ISU football players, they didn't care that we were in there except for one really small dude, had to be a kicker, who mean mugged us for a bit but didn't say anything. One of these football players was the largest human I have ever seen, absolutely a roid head, but his sole focus seemed to be smashing chicks, so he was cool. Not 10 minutes after getting there I see some dude snatch Fanning's hat off, throw it and bolt for the front door. Trim and I chase him down, I asked him what the eff he was doing and he immediately points to his buddy saying that fanning started with him. I stepped into his face and told him he was full of crap and he starts looking at trim and I and says, "sorry man, I'm sorry." We leave the dudes alone as it was obvious that they wanted no parts, apparently a few other of our dudes caught them after Trim and I walked away.

So Ames has the largest collection of women that are 5'10" and taller, and in this bar they were all beautiful. There were a couple of ISU volleyball players in there but there were so many more tall, beautiful women at this bar. One unnamed pak'r walked up to the tallest, prettiest player and proceeded to take her leg and lift it up well above her waist. She was not bothered by this at all in fact she laughed about it, I should also mention she was wearing a tight skirt. This unnamed pak'r was a flirt with beautiful woman machine all night, it went from awe inspiring, to funny, to a bit creepy. At this point in the night the cheerleader from part one and bar two came into the bar, she found us again and came to chat us up again. This time she was much more handsy and flirty and also drunk. I wasn't at all interested but once again our filly slayer was no where to be found. He later explained to me that he shines when the fillies seek him out. I was bored with the cheerleader after 15 minutes so that ended. At this point I still thought she was lying. I mean why would a beautiful ISU cheerleader be at the bars drunk and alone? Later we saw her trying to kiss a dude and he had no interest at all. When we saw her cheering yesterday I then believed she was a cheerleader.
About an hour or so after the fanning hat incident I saw the two guys at the bar, I have no idea how it happened but the guys were talking to fanning and buying everyone SoCo and lime shots and talking to fanning about Jake Waters, I have no idea why the guy would come on here and lie about this.
The highlight of this bar for me was about an hour and a half after getting to this bar we ran into some EMAW VIPs who recognized us from seeing us earlier in the evening (I'm keeping this fairly vague for a reason). These VIPs were pretty cool to hang out with, they gave us some inside info about KSU athletics and we entertained them by just being us. The rest of the night not much noteworthy happened outside of random Ames asshatness, example there were two different guys that tried to go into the women's bathroom and both times there was a random beautiful 5 10ers who went into the bathroom and forcefully removed the guys. This girl didn't work at this bar, security was non existent, she just took pride in handling her business.
Fanning's filly phone story has been told, I didn't see it.
When we were driving off, we saw our EMAW VIPs standing on the corner waiting for a cab, we offered them a ride to their hotel and they accepted. As they were getting in the van a rando Amesian tried to get into the van as well it was weird. In retrospect Trim said that we should have just let him ride with us and dumped him in the country. We were subjected treated to Trim doing his oscar Weber impression the entire ride to the VIP's hotel.
After we dropped them off we looked for an IHOP/Denny's type place. We couldn't find one but we did discover that in Ames the McDonalds lobby is open 24 hours so we had to settle for that.

The second bar we went to was better than the first, Trim, Gooch, and I were sitting at the bar when a very attractive blonde came and stood between Trim and I to order drinks. Us, not being socially awkward and afraid of people, chatted her up. She said she was an ISU cheerleader and she thought we were K-State basketball players. I shut down the basketball player thing because I thought she was lying about being a cheerleader. Anyhow we ended up talking her for about 15 minutes while an unnamed member of our group who claims to be a filly slayer continued to talk to dudes while this beautiful blonde had her entire focus on our group. Well the conversation ended and aside from this girl and the large bucket of dumdum pops on the bar we had exhausted all we needed from this stop.

The part that none of you get is that nothing we did can compare to the reactions of the Iowans we encountered in terms of being classless, etc. I mean, fanning and I were called "faggots" and told that we were "in the USA so get that flag out of here." I was physically accosted by a guy who probably has hs or college aged kids when I had the flag. We were flipped off, told to "eff off!" etc. constantly by people off in the distance. Yet we didn't employ any of these tactics.

Wasn't really looking to start anything with the flag dude, just couldn't take someone disrespecting Hilton/Cyclones. It happened with a KU fan a year or 2 ago, but he had some stupid jayhawk bird hat on and someone ripped it off his head and threw it down into the student section (that one wasn't me) : ) Always thought KSU fans were better than KU fans, but I guess there's always a few bad apples in any fan base. You can't go running around someone's house with your stupid flag!! You can scream during a free-throw, you can cheer when your team does something good, but keep your butt in your seat here and run around with your flag at your place. Show a little respect! By the way, thanks to the usher that shook my hand afterwards, and all the other fans that did the same! Go Cyclones!!

huh. i heard that they did end up flying there (late) but had to bus back due to more mechanical stuff. either way what a crappy deal to have to drive six hours back to mhk after that loss. t's and p's to the bball team.

huh. i heard that they did end up flying there (late) but had to bus back due to more mechanical stuff. either way what a crappy deal to have to drive six hours back to mhk after that loss. t's and p's to the bball team.
No they bussed, but they should have flown. They got on the plane but it was having mechanical issues. The issues were going to take approx 2-3 hours to fix. Instead of waiting for the issues and then taking the 1 hour flight, they took a 6 hour bus ride instead. We saw them having dinner very late, after 8PM.
