I think I had an encounter last night. I had one at my grandma's when I was a kid too. Thoughts? Stories? :ohno:
-
I dont believe in ghosts because I have not seen one. When I see one I might change my mind.
-
no. mental.
-
Nope. 0% chance of them actually existing.
-
I was super hungover. My nerves might of played into this. I couldn't tell if it was real or if I was dreaming. I heard the voice of a filly saying: "I can help. I can help." What does she need to help me with? :ohno:

ghosts aren't real. you either imagined that you heard a voice, you heard the voice of a real person, or you have a mental illness and should talk to a doctor.

I think you used a word that wasn't necessary.

The intricacy would be for my own enjoyment as well as practice for big fish.

A lot of times after high volume drinking I will experience mild hallucinations the next night when trying to sleep, was probably that.

Did anyone else recall the scene in Ghostbusters where Dan Aykroyd was getting blown by that ghost in his sleep?

Was a pretty legit story in this one, iirc.

had an encounter once in Savannah...Cold rushes of air up my shorts walking down the street when it was 104 and humid as hell out... So cold I got goosebumps, asked mrs OTG if she felt it, she was right next to me and nada. We looked around for vents out of buildings, etc...nothing.
We went on a ghost tour later that night and was told ghosts do that kinda crap...
Freaked my shlt :horrorsurprise: :sdeek:
-
I beat the holy crap of a ghost once. Just wrecked his dome
-
The elders said the air in wheels is actually ghosts.
-

My family talked about whether or not ghosts are real yesterday at Thanksgiving. Some of them say yeah fanning. Will put the question to Mrs Bread's side tomorrow and report back.

Thanks, Mr. Bread, it's appreciated.

The more susceptible you are to scams and pyramid schemes the more likely you are to believe in ghosts. That's a scientifically proven fact.

Living room tv turned on by itself last night when I was home alone. Was around 3 AM. Probably going to torch the house down tonight to make sure it's not haunted. T's & P's.
-
Tv malfunction
-
DTs
-
Yeah, looks like low batteries in the controller. Still freaked me out a bit.
-
Sleep walking probably
-
Thetans
-
Pretty impressed with the amount of information out there. A lot of ppl convincing themselves they're not being haunted by Satan himself.

Working for her grandparents. Getting paid to watch over them when the rest of the family can't. :eye:
-
I wonder what ghosts did before there were electronics to turn on randomly? Probably were really bored.
-
Open and close doors mostly.
-
Blow out candles on a non-windy night. I bet Ebenezer Scrooge crap himself when that went down.
-
Taking the batteries out of the controller tonight, if the TV comes on, it's case closed at this point.
-
DTs

I know for a fact that ghosts exists and I have proof. For example, just last week I was having an in person conversation with someone about instantaneous water heaters, Just talking face to face, no texting or typing or anything. The next day I'm seeing ads on my phone for instantaneous water heaters. That had to be the work of a trixie ghost. Case closed.
-
Ghosts are in the pocket of big instantaneous water heaters, who knew.

My goodness. "Hi Grandma great to see you! I charge $30 an hour now to hang out, hope you don't mind"

I'd never take my family's money

Ts & Ps for Mrs Wack, Ts & Ps.
BOT If your tv does turn itself on, promptly crush it to release the restless soul. Problem solved. :)
-
I'd never take my family's money
But what if your grandparents were sick and couldn’t take care of themselves. Even then you wouldn’t take their money?!
-
You guys are just some elite AF ppl. They both have Alzheimer's. It's either pay for them to be in a place, hire a FT nurse, or have family over to help out and run the family book. You rough ridin' monsters!
-
I'd never take my family's money
Didn't you marry into it? Lies?
-
To answer the OG post, yes I believe in ghost 200%

Yet I don't charge them for favors.

2 grandparents in a good nursing home is $13,000 per month
-
Dealing with alzheimers patients is ridiculously tough. Mrs. Wacky could be charging them a million dollars (not really) and still be a saint.
-
He obviously doesn't get it. It's probably coming out of her inheritance knowing that family anyways. It's whatever guys. Happy she can help out while she's job searching.
-
I think the moral of the story is that Wacky really could have left that detail out instead of bragging about the new stream of income.
No judgment for getting compensated for what is basically a full time job, though. Nursing homes are crazy expensive, so if family members are collectively able to provide round the clock care it makes a lot of sense.

Well yoga was implying that Mrs wacky had left me, so I had to defend myself. But true. Either way, ppl who don't know how serious Alzheimer's is should stfu until they've had a loved one live with it. it's awful and not a walk in the park to deal with.
-
told you guys she moved out.. living with her family now

My Grandfather had Alzheimer's and he was a WW2 vet of the Pacific theatre, I remember we had a home health nurse who was to take care of him 24/7. My Grandpa could remember the War but he could barely remember us. He had such a hard time that he ran off from his house into the street that they lived on for many years, the home health nurse had left him in front of the TV in his living room and he got up and ran off as soon as she left him. My grandpas Alzheimer's was so bad that he didn't even go to my grandma's funeral. The whole running away with the nurse had happened after my grandma had died in surgery. He would ask for her all the time. Three things that I wish I could get rid of totally are Alzheimer's, Cancer and ALS as I have lost people to all three diseases. I feel for you wacky having experienced it all first hand. I was in the third grade and lost 4 family member in 6 months, My grandma and grandpa being two of them.
-
Thanks Greg. It's awful. My grandma had it for the last 8 years and did the same thing. She passed this last summer. Tough to see both of her grandparents going through it. Sorry you had to go through that.
Anyways, back to the original post, gonna be home by myself tonight. :ohno: Will be taking those batteries out.
