Mix reports, but if this is really about a dog....well, that will be a first, as far as I can recall.

McDonald was arrested on a dangerous dog case. He had his first hearing this morning and will serve a five-day sentence in the Riley County Jail.

That's per Bart Ray-Gun, so you know it's legit.

Sorry kids, simply does not qualify as MCMW.
Oh well, maybe next time.

A rough ridin' brittany? Dangerous? Pfft.
-
5 days over a dog??? I'm assuming this dog mauled someone or something, right?
-
Guys what if they put the dog down? :horrorsurprise: :bawl:
-
HERO
-
They are going to rough ridin' kill Andre's dog.
You guys remember when Mike Eckler's piranha died? He dedicated his season to the dead piranha and went on to have a pretty good year smashing dudes on kickoffs.
Andre is going to play his ass of for the dog that they kill. We all win. Except for Andre's dog, who clearly comes out poorly in this deal.
-
Rashad Norwood thinks this is a bogus charge.

Using that angle, this could work out pretty good, except for the dog.
If they don't for whatever reason put the dog down, this is pretty much a fringe MCMW scenario.
-
More reason why K-State will never be big time, or hire a big time coach. WE can't even get the god damn dog catch to overlook a dog with a bad attitude.
-
I got busted for running a dog without a leash once. The head of animals control's wife saw me and called it in. I guess I should have thought twice before letting my dog chew on a tennis ball and roll around in some leaves. I had no idea how dangerous I was making City Park.
-
Andre owns a couple of pits. The townies are afraid of them, but the dogs are actually really nice.
-
if this arrest is a result of some rough ridin' townies being scared, i am going to lose it.
-
Andre owns a couple of pits. The townies are afraid of them, but the dogs are actually really nice.
Great, now we have two dead dogs.
-
Also, I bet Tannahill called the dog catcher.

T's & P's AbeFroman. Every morning I let my dogs out sans leash to piss in the grass in front of our cul de sac (what kind of cul de sac has a grass center anyway?) and the animal control guy drives by and waves and smiles.
-
Also, I bet Tannahill called the dog catcher.
are Tanny and Sprady roomies?
-
JFC, our beat writers are retards now (Hambone excepted; he's got life issues he's taking care of).
-
i hate townies/townie cops as much as the next guy, but at some point our dumbass athletes need to stop being dumbasses and do things when townies aren't looking. or confront the townies and threaten them so that they don't snitch.

So JO has a pitbull on the loose and rough ridin' Noel Schultz tweets about how we need to find it, and Andre has a pitbull and they rough ridin' arrest him.
-
The dog thing happened long ago, guys. He missed a probation condition. Will be LOL if the condition he missed is checking in for a weekly appointment w/his P.O. because OBz has them locked down at the stadium 7 days a week, 7am -11pm.
-
You guys remember when Mike Eckler's piranha died? He dedicated his season to the dead piranha and went on to have a pretty good year smashing dudes on kickoffs.
Know what I learned in some recent research? Ekeler's piranha was named Carl, after Bill Murray's character in Caddyshack. Eks was such a huge fan of Bill Murray that he took the microphone at fan appreciation day one time and did a whole routine of just quoting Bill Murray lines. Said he has "nearly every Bill Murray movie on video." This is reflected nowhere on Ekeler's wikipedia page, though it needs to be.

Different case, that was in District Court and I think he got a diversion on it. This probation is a result from the municipal conviction that I can't see, but everyone seems to think was dog-related. If anyone wants to go check it out, they can get the muni case # from the district court case 12 CR 204 which was the appeal of that muni conviction and which obviously didn't end the problem. That case will likely have the muni court order from which he's appealing including the case # you'd want to look up across the street or wherever they're holding city court nowadays.

Riley County District Court Case No. 11 CR 682, filed 9/8/11, original charge of domestic battery taking place on 8/28/11, amended to battery as part of deferred adjudication (diversion) in February 2012.
Riley County District Court Case No. 12 CR 204, an appeal from municipal court filed 4/9/12, not sure who was appealing what but in any event dismissed 5/9/12 and original file returned to muni court 7/11/12. Either that muni conviction was for dog misdeeds and he's since violated probation, or the conviction was for a separate domestic battery and MIP that got dealt with in muni court and now a dog issue has been deemed a violation.
Kellis' summary doesn't really make sense in real life. If he was actually convicted of a new dog case recently, the 5 days he's serving is for domestic battery and MIP for which he was granted probation, not because he had a mean dog. Winters, head over to 610 Colorado with $10 and make some copies of the file for us.
Kansas State tight end Andre McDonald began serving a five-day sanction in the Riley County jail Sunday for violating probation.
Manhattan city prosecutor Kassie McEntire said McDonald was convicted of a violation of the city’s dangerous dog ordinance. McDonald was on probation after being arrested last year when he was cited with domestic battery and possession of alcohol by a minor in Manhattan’s Aggieville district.
The dangerous dog ordinance is elaborate. But McEntire said McDonald’s violation stemmed from owning an aggressive dog.

Seems kind of MCMW-ish to me. Not this instance in particular, though.

I've petted those dogs a couple times, they are sweet dogs. Manhattans pit policy says dogs cant ever be off a lease or it's a violation. Apparently the dogs just got away from Andre and ran around for a bit, scared some kids. What a crappy situation.

i can't believe mcdonalds is getting arrested and put in jail for five days because his dog wasn't on a leash. the jamie vaughn drama continues. currie :shakesfist: as soon as currie does something right like get louisville to the b12, then he goes and arrests mcdonalds for dog leash violation. argh, sometimes you can't win. :shakesfist: :shakesfist:

Re: Andre McDonald
McDonald should have been punished a lot earlier so he could understand he wasn't above the law. He keeps pit bulls in a residential area. At least twice his dogs have escaped and attacked dogs while being walked in the neighborhood. Once they attacked a dog that was being walked by a pregnant woman pushing a child in a stroller. They would have killed her dog, except her dog hid under a car, but it still had to undergo extensive surgery to survive. The second time they attacked dogs being walked by a man who put his hands inside the corner of the pit bulls' mouth and held them off until help came from a KSU baseball game that had just ended. Thank goodness his dogs attacked dogs and not the people walking them. Both times the KSU football dept. arranged for lawyers to get McDonald off with probation and even allowed him to keep the dogs. McDonald smirked his way through both court appearances.

Re: Andre McDonald
McDonald should have been punished a lot earlier so he could understand he wasn't above the law. He keeps pit bulls in a residential area. At least twice his dogs have escaped and attacked dogs while being walked in the neighborhood that once allowed peaceful dogwalking but doesn't anymore because of these maniac dogs attacking dogs. Once they attacked a dog that was being walked by a pregnant woman pushing a child in a stroller that was being prayed for by a gaggle of nuns preceding a peace parade full of little children who are deathly allergic to dogs and have leukemia. They would have killed her dog, except her dog hid under a car which rusted to death due to evil pit bull slobber, but it still had to undergo extensive surgery to survive and it will never be able to play the piano ever again. The second time they attacked dogs being walked by a man who put his hands inside the corner of the pit bulls' mouth and triggered the dogs gag reflex which spewed hot stomach acid / lava all over his hands and arms and face yet still held them off until help came from a KSU baseball game that had just ended with no specific outcome as to whether KSU won or lost or that is was called on account of the unholy ruckus going on outside the stadium caused by the acidic lava spewing dog being gagged by a man. Thank goodness his dogs attacked dogs which were attacked by his dogs and not some other person's dogs which were not in fact attacked by dogs but by aliens disguised as dogs but really they belonged to him so they might as well have been his dogs and not the people walking them. Both times the KSU football dept. arranged for lawyers to get McDonald off with probation and even allowed him to keep the dogs. McDonald smirked his way through both court appearances and then punched two babies before being delinquent on his taxes and taking a dump in a handicapped parking space.

Wow that was amazing. Made me think about if my dogs might be aliens. And they might!

T's and P's to the dog playing piano circuit concert series.
My condolences in your time of loss.

Yeah, Pittbulls attacking other dogs is pretty cool actually.
Clearly an overreaction.

Pretty sure they were bred to be golden in color and retrieve waterfowl. Nice try though, noob.
-
Just because a pitbull is born in an oven does not make it bread.
-
Its less about white folks and more about everyone...there isn't a lot of education on pitt bulls to the general population or to prospective owners. My roommate had a half pitt/half bourdeaux and it was great with all the dogs it lived with...its only issue was he wasn't neutered so he would bust out of our fence to go look for some tail and would get called in by a ton of our neighbors. Id come back from school and see the dog catcher out an about and id go to the same spot he always went to, and scoop him up while being followed by the dog catcher. Id throw him inside and then get assaulted by the dog catcher. The guy basically said that the next time he caught the dog running loose, that he would shoot the dog with a tranq dart but since they were premade it very well could kill the dog

Look I was only joking. But I feel very strongly that anyone who wants their dog to fight, doesn't really care about the animal. Too bad they can't replace their dog and fight for themselves. :curse:

Did you guys hear on 810 whb when Nick Leckey was on and he said something about how he went to a practice and when Snyder saw him he said "wow, you play a bunch of years in the NFL and you still can't afford decent clothes lol". Point is, I think Snyder might be getting funnier.

Nope. I hear the wisecracks and jackassery take over the body coordination part of the brain. Bill might be shuffling his feet more these days but will keep scheming.

I'm just holding out hope that his brain has room for the wisecracks and jackassery to commingle with the schemes so we get some hilarious situations during blowout victories this season. I mean imagine being up by 30 points and Bill decides to just play Tate at QB for a while.

Cats' tight end McDonald being sued
Staff reports
Andre McDonald is a bit further in the doghouse.
The Kansas State tight end, who has been benched for the season-opener Saturday, had already spent five days in the county jail this summer for violating the city's dangerous dog ordinance. Now he's being sued in Riley County District Court for $60,000 by a man who says McDonald's pit bulls attacked him.
Brandon Robb of Manhattan filed the lawsuit last week. He claims that he was helping his girlfriend pet-sit McDonald's pit bulls on Dec. 23, 2011. When he was walking another dog, McDonald's dog named Zeke attacked Robb and bit him several times, the lawsuit claims.
Robb is asking for $60,000 to compensate for "past and future and suffering, past and future mental anguish, permanent disfigurement and permanent physical injuries." Robb is asking for a jury trial.
The civil lawsuit is not directly related to McDonald's violation of the city's dangerous dog ordinance, authorities said — except for one thing: McDonald was served the papers notifying him of the civil lawsuit on Aug. 23, when he was serving his time at the Riley County Jail.
K-State coach LHC Bill Snyder said Tuesday that McDonald — in addition to not playing this Saturday — has suffered consequences for his actions.
"We have to get him some friends, other than dogs," Snyder quipped during the weekly press conference. "We're working diligently on that. He has suffered some consequences and continues to suffer some consequences."

Any news on this guy? Did he play last night? How long will Snyder keep this monster under wraps? I noticed that he was suited up for UNT, but didn't get in.
-
Just waiting for us to implement the 4-TE 0-QB 0-RB formation that Snyder has in the playbook.

Tannehill played like a maniac last night and Trujillo had a very, very good block I noticed on a run in the first half.
We're very deep at TE.

Yeah it's very possible that McDonald is 100% cleared but isn't playing because he is less consistent than those two.

Idk that AM is the same caliber blocker that the other two are and while he's made some fantastic catches, he has also had some bad drops. I can't recall a drop from Tannehill or Trujillo.
-
Thats really disappointing if true..considering hes like 6'7 and 270 pounds...and provides an incredible redzone target

Tannehill vs OSU last year, 2 in a row (one was very tough).

After golfing at Colbert today, my dad and I stopped by The Fridge liquor store for the Easter guested we have in Wamego. Andre McDonald is working there. He was ringing us up and I asked if he was ready for spring ball. He said "no sir." I asked why and he said "I'm all played out on football, sir."
I told him I hoped he found his passion because we can really use him this year and he has a ton of potential. He thanked me, spit his tobacco on a bottle, and went back to whatever he was doing on his phone.
-
I like how they had to have an excuse to go to the liquor store.

the owner of the Fridge really taught all the GPC cunts a valuable lesson in that thread.

For the most part I let all the Andre talk continue without comment because he is being fueled by the negative comments on here. Andre has worked for me at the Fridge for the over a year. He can't work during the season due to being on scholarship but the moment he can work he wants to work. He spends most of his time in the cooler because he gets a lot of people wanting to talk about football. When he is forced into a Cashier he messes with people when asked about football. This is just his personality coming through, always joking, just a big kid. This big kid doesn't always make the best decisions but he means well and is a very good kid. He stopped by last night and ask if I had seen the comments on GPC, I told him I hadn't and he said "check it out, its amazing how fast news travels"
Andre will be in spring practice next week and is very much part of the football team. He is focused on this senior year and knows this is it. He told me they are not going to have any reason not to play me. Andre like a lot of the players can't survive on the scholarship money alone. This is the Eighth player I have had work for me over the last fifteen years, all of them need the money.
I don't know all the stories about the pit bulls and don't ask a lot of questions. My small kids have been around three of his dogs with no trouble at all. Very good pets, I can't speak for the other two, they could be mean as hell. I can't understand the need for five dogs but he rescued them from death row because he has a big heart and doesn't want them put down.
On a final note, all the players I have had work for me show up for the interview in a shirt and tie. Snyder has told them respect every job like it is your career.
I think we are going to see big things from Andre this fall!
-
 Danger Dog trolling GPC

Wow!

fwiw, andre would be the best poster on this board if he were to post. dude trolls for a hobby.

why don't wackycat and winters form a welcome committee and let the players know that they have an alternative option to gpc, called gE.c
-
I had a ton of classes with him freshman year, and yeah, he just straight up trolls class discussions. Pretty hilarious actually.
-
He wouldn't need a job if he wasn't feeding 5 dogs.

Walked into a lecture 30 minutes late, on his phone, eating an ice cream. The professor makes a snide comment about wishing he could go get some ice cream later, Andre interrupts his phone conversation and says "You want some of mine, Prof?".

he was at a ces event I went to a few weeks ago for work. told every single person that he talked to that he was in a different major. pre law, pre med, criminology, architecture, etc.

Has been nonexistent on the FB field. I was hoping for some more mike vick post-jail/pitbull success.
-
i was just thinking about that the other day. what a shame for andre the giant.

yeah, pretty disappointed. thought maybe he'd have a big year but it's been pretty meh.

Waste of a solid nickname.

Did I see Huebner playing TE on our double tight formation? Waters first TD run vs Tech?

I think he'll still play some sort of professional football. He's one of the more imposing persons I've stood next to.

It's really great how Snyder is able to find NFL types that don't produce in his offense.
