Hey, Wildcat fans.
Just woke up from my CAI --> FRA --> LGA --> CRW jetlag. Used my AA points for the whole flight (thanks, SD!). I would have liked to use some SPG points for my stay here in West Virginia, but the nicest hotel I could find was a Microtel.
Anyways, I figured I'd take a little time off from PAKing with Felix Rex to go on a mission trip with my church and check out some world famous saltpeter caves. Every year the church tries to go where we're needed most, so we were back in WV for the 39th consecutive year. This was my first time on the trip, so I figured I'd extend a good old fashioned goEMAW welcome to our new conference compadres.
Unfortunately, when I arrived, the conditions were much more dire than I could ever imagine. I snapped a few photos, welcomed a few of the locals to the conference, donated a couple of desperately needed jars of queso, and got the heck out.
Ts and Ps, WV bros. But hey, montani semper liberi, right?!

What criteria are we using to determine best poster? Thinking specifically about CanCo here. I mean he hasn't accumulated as many LOLs as someone like SD or daris or clams or whatever, but his batting average is 1.000. I mean the guy can't miss. I guess what I'm asking is, can a pinch hitter who only comes in once every six games but hits a home run every time be considered one of the best hitters in the game?

Dlew12, that hurts. That hurts deep. Especially coming from an EMAW I respect and admire--both for his EMAW and for being cool enough to shave a mullet in his head for a couple of Keystones. Plus, as CC says above, his sorely-missed absence is not CanCo related.
When you ask, "who does he think he is?", my answer would be, "just an EMAW who loves the KSU Cats and wants to show that love to the world." Just like you. Just like everyone here. We may have different ways of showing that love, but that love is real regardless of the medium.

I look to my right and I see Wes walking up to the bar. Followed behind him was a bunch of groupies that didn't look over the age of 18. So he stood in the middle of the bar talking to these girls, flexing his muscles, and showing off his abs. There was a girl at my table that is disgusted by him. So she started making facial reactions towards him, and keep repeating that she wanted to give him a KITN. I finally joined her in making facial features towards Wes. However, I didn't think he was looking. When I looked up, Wes was mocking me at my table. He tossed a chair to the side, and started walking towards me. I stood up and looked down at the little leprechaun. He than shoved me, and I pushed my chair at him. After this his "entourage" started pulling him back. I screamed: "He bra, what's wrong? No cameras around for you to perform?" He told me to F off. And I told him I wasn't CT and he could move along. Finally he walked inside the bar and I grabbed another drink. It was an epic night. Thought you all would enjoy reading about my encounter with Wes. He's a real "winner"! True Story! :cheers:
