K-State needs to add something with all the new realignment money/recruiting budget savings. What's your first choice?
Mine is soccer.
-
seems like the state of kansas has good high school wrestling. so we could add that, be pretty good at it, and not care about it. :dunno:
-
Womens soccer and men's wrestling.
-
softball

Womens soccer and men's wrestling.
i think this is a good idea.
-
Trapshooting.
-
Soccer and softball
-
Softball would force us to build up a whole new field. I say women's soccer for sure and either men's soccer or wrestling. My first pick is wrestling bc it seems like they just give those Natty C's away.
-
softball
This. And award a lifetime contract to some super nice, religious lady who will never win crap ever but be immune from any criticism.

Agreed. Could probably take the intramural champion bowling team and put 'em in the weight classes and hang a banner at the end of year two.

Women's power lifting, Men's gymnastics

Yeah a higher winning percentage and more conference titles (in easily the conferences most competitive sport) than any other coach on campus is a real rough ridin' drag.
No other men's sport should be added other than tennis. I'd add women's soccer and softball.

I should have made fun of Brad Hill in my post but I felt like I was killing him in the Alex thread so I wanted to spread it around.
But deb has done pretty crapty in post season.

Don't want us to add any more sports...just a waste of money.
If we are going to spend $$$ spend more $$$ on football, basketball and baseball.

It cost like what $2000 a year to have a wrestling team? I'm pretty sure the rec already has a room they can practice in.

Yes, yes, and yes to all suggestions.
-
Men's soccer would have been super fun to watch/support at the old stadium when I was a student. :frown:
-
Is there a realistic chance that even with more revenue Kstate will add more sports?
Is just doesn't seem likely to me. I want it to happen, but really?
Put me down for men's soccer.

None of our peer institutions have men's soccer. We should be forced to add softball and women's soccer. Just as ISU should be forced to add baseball.
