why would he think that wally's suitcase would be a good place to store his offensive game?  appreciate the REBS tho.

I don't know anything about the guy, but maybe he just plays because he is good enough and likes playing, and wants to have his schooling paid for, he's always seemed to lack the emotion, he's the anti-jamar. Maybe he doesn't love the game. I'm ok with that. As long as he plays good D, rebounds, and makes a three every now and again.

He's tough as hell. I'd like him to be more aggressive offensively. But if he's a role player capable of going for 20+, that's OK.

Is it that he lacks emotion or he just doesn't show it?  I'd like to think he doesn't show it, like a robot. Or an assassin.

I think he's easily the most talented player on our team too.

no. I'm not sure you understand why #teamangel started.

Those of you with low Rod  right now need to go watch the scene in K-State Confidential with he and Denis.  He has to get better, right?  :crossfingers:

I love Rodney, in fact I love most on this team. But every year you need someone to drive the bus, and early returns are showing that perhaps the best bus driver is #teamangel. We'll see.

I know its just goEMAW's style to try to pick out a scapegoat every year, but that's fairly pointless this season.  We really don't have any garbage players in our 8 man rotation this year.  First time its been that way in decades.

Our diamonds are out of the rough and shining like a hub cap on Sean's team bus.

I know its just goEMAW's tucked in combo fans style to try to pick out a scapegoat every year, but that's fairly pointless this season.  We really don't have any garbage players in our 8 man rotation this year.  First time its been that way in decades.

Rodney's shots haven't been going in, but they will. Once they do, watch out. You're going to hate yourself for ever doubting him.

Oh. I thought it was because some people thought angel was going to disappoint and other, smarter, people thought he'd be fine.

I'm pretty sure I heard Rod cuss after missing his FT rebound put back. I'll take this as him starting to show emotion. Although he did face the ground when he cussed. Maybe he's just considerately emotional  :dunno:

Really excited for SR year Rodney. Hopefully he will have fully embraced his role as the top dog and we can be our "pullen" who we give the ball to with 10 on the shot clock.

Really liked what I saw from him last night, taking people off the dribble and attacking the rim.  Looks like he's gaining a lot of confidence out there  :emawkid:.  Going to need him to keep stepping up to avoid those stretches of going scoreless for 4-5 minutes which we always seem to fit into each game somehow

His body control and ability to get his shot off at various angles on his little runner has become incredible.

I liked the one where he just threw it at the front of the rim and it bounced up and in.
