Kinda disappointed you didn't call it the zombie. Not even once.

Look for more throws out of the Zombie formation this week. I've got to believe either Tannahill or Hubert will be a main target for finesse passes. You'd think that Bill will try to loosen up the D early with just a couple throws. Hopefully they're effective enough to work.

these are great break downs _FAN, even for someone who knows nothing about football like myself.

that was really, really good. also, if anybody here has never seen actual video of a football game from the 50's, then i highly encourage you to do it. saw some tape of my dad's highschool team and it was hilarious. looked more like rugby. also lots of people running up to the line of scrimmage and jumping. sometimes with the ball, sometimes without it.

fan, it doesn't seem we run much counter out of it.  I guess we haven't had to but there's plenty of film on us, why haven't teams been more prepared to stop it.

Also, Why the hell couldn't we stop it against us when other teams have used it against us.  OU ran the exact same play against us 2 or 3 times and was successful, A&M may have as well.

We have run a counter with Pease when we run him in the Wildcat, but its the same formation basically.

And to point 2, frankly its just hard to stop (when the numbers are even) especially for no gain. We almost always gained 2-3 yards on it, but we also didn't have gains over 7-8 yards either.

If we can start hitting some long balls out of it, even 25% of the time, no one will stop us.

Was klein 1/3 on the deep balls out of it?  2 PI's?

I don't haved all the numbers, but I know the first completion in OT from Klein to Harper was from a variation of single wing too.

Really appreciate these.  I will say that this shines a light on just how great our offensive line has to be to make this system work.  I don't think they have gotten enough credit this year.  I don't think any of them were highly regarded prospects but they sure have molded into a formidable group.

Kinda disappointed you didn't call it the zombie. Not even once.

Double tights and two lead blockers...it's the Power Wildcat.

or

The Thundercat.
