Title: What's the football equivalent of oboards?
Post by: SleepFighter on October 16, 2011, 01:55:20 PM
Because I'm pretty sure this team is good at it.

These football wild wild cats are more junkyardy than our last basketball bunch (but I still loved those guys).

Recovering your own fumble

yep.
Tech: Fum 2 - lost 0
Mizz: Fum 1 - lost 0
Bay: Fum 1 - lost 0
Miami: Fum 4 - lost 0
Kent: none
WKU: Fum 5 - lost 4

I see a pattern.

Players get offensive rebounds by working harder than the opposing player who has the advantage of inside position. So I'd say stops on third- or fourth-down short-yardage situations or first downs on third and long.

3rd down conversion on both sides of the ball has some similarities.
