Forget hot dogs -- Royals fans will be able to munch on Stroud's fried chicken at Kauffman Stadium this season.

The Royals and Stroud's Restaurant have a three-year agreement to serve the pan-fried chicken and other items beginning this season.

The Stroud's at Kauffman Stadium will be connected to the Royals Hall of Fame in left field.

"We are extremely excited to bring Stroud's into the K and make their legendary chicken and cinnamon rolls available to our fans," said Royals senior VP-business operations Kevin Uhlich.

Stroud's will serve its two-piece chicken dinner, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers and buffalo wings, as well as cinnamon rolls.

The K is more of a bar district than a baseball stadium, since there really isn't a team that plays there

Last Father's Day, I almost ran over Frank Martin in the Stroud's parking lot.    :embarrassed:

Feels good to get that off my chest....

Strouds is good if you are partial to pan fried chicken.

If not, I can see where it wouldn't be a big deal.

There's one in Wichita too.  My in-laws are ga-ga for it.  It's OK I guess.  Farmhouse food.  Great atmosphere though (much better than either KC location)

Maserati is good if you are partial to automobiles.   :peek:

Love Strouds.  Biggest, most succulent friend chicken breasts you'll find anywhere.  Fantastic cinnamon rolls.  Mashed potatoes are good, too.  Only 10 minutes from my house.

Won't turn down Popeyes or KFC, though.  I just love fried chicken.

Love barbeque, and OK Joe's is 10 minutes from my house, too.

And cajun/creole, and Jazz is...12 minutes from my house.

Yeah, I pretty much choose where to live based on proximity to my favorite foods.

That's a little further away from my house, but still pretty good.

Would prefer a "Brookville Hotel" in the K instead.

And bring back Sheboygans.
