Their kids are ready to play the day they get to campus. Other area programs don't facilitate the transition to D1 quite as well.
I don't expect Frankamp to see the floor much his first two years at KU. Although he is a gym rat (like Spradling and all white players), so he should eventually work his way into a back up role in Lawrence- expect 6 mins per game in Jr year, about the same as a Senior.

Frankamp is a good player. I'm not saying he's not. He will contribue on the practice court and in the classroom, I just don't see him being able to climb out of the hole that he's dug himself in highschool/aau.

Yup, he makes the kids he plays against look like they're terrible at defense. We'll see what happens in a year when he actually has to play against real players, not the Wichita City League all-stars. LOL.

yeah, i was just correcting bmw, i didn't mean it as a knock on frankamp. he's going to be a great player.
kstate is a picky recruiter, they fail to go after a lot of guys that are very good players.

Maybe Conner thought the prospect of significant pt was either a bald-faced lie on Self's part, or else he saw his role receding as the season went on. Either way, you'd think three men like Self, Conner and Mr. Frankamp could put their heads together and sweep this nonsense under the rug. To have this happen within a hair's length of the start of the season is a shame.

This is no surprise. Anyone who thinks this kid was a major D1 prospect doesn't know BB and probably part of the crowd that didn't want Waters to QB. The kid weighs 160 pounds, weak, avg. quicks and is 6'. Can't guard and is a spot up shooter at best.
