I like Deadliest Catch, but Ice Road Truckers is the best show on TV right now.

Check this crap out - Spring Break 2001, Destin, FL. Decide to take a boat out to deep sea fish. First cast, BAM!, pole bends. 15 minutes later i see this giant creature starting to appear. This was not a fish. Pull the creature up and it's a giant octopus that I hooked. It sucks itself to the back of the boat, took 4 dudes to rip its tentacles from the boat. Threw it in a freezer and it started spraying ink everywhere. Got back to shore and paid the deck hand to clean it. That night? You guessed it, fried octopus.  :gocho:

This. South Park does a fantastic job showing how stupid it is, and how big of pussies all those guys are.

They may as well follow al qaeda operatives around with cameras.  Same ilk.

I'd much rather watch AQ operatives than a group of tree hugging super pussies that chase around people trying to do their job

Wait, is Whale Watchers different from Whale Wars?  Forgive my low WWIQ (apply that as an and/or).

Whale Wars:

There was one episode where the Japs harpooned a whale right in front of the criminal tree hugging pussies. That's the only moment worth watching in the entire show

Thought there was more than one.  Was about to :ohno:

So this deadliest catch guy.  He fishing for crabs, or a bunch of stuff, or what?  Need a rundown on the most exciting parts of this show if I am ever to watch.

Love the Whale Wars' cause but hate their tactics.  If someone really wanted to shutdown whaling ops (for a season) why not just shoot a stinger into that processing boat?  Not sure how hard it is to get your hands on a stinger but all sorts of poor ass mofos have them so you would think greenpeace could afford one.  :dunno:

Also, I would like to hear Pike's input on why the Japanese should be allowed to harvest the whales.  Pretty sure that was banned.  And I'll give him bonus points if he never uses the word "research."
