Should be our starting lineup for the rest of the year.

I wonder if we would see more out of JamSam that way since he says he is more comfortable in a 6th man spot.

JamSam........I'm just not that into JamSam anymore.  Dude airballs two-foot shots routinely.

I have no way of proving it statistically, but it seems to me that we give up fewer offensive boards when Jamar is in the game.

Me too.  Maybe coming off the bench we will see more of the Slam in jamSlam as opposed to the jamAvoidAllContactMissLayup.  He has been pretty solid lately aside from last night though.  Defensively he has been good.  Maybe coming off the bench will increase his offensive numbers a bit :dunno:

I always thought that 6th man talk from JamSam was just talk.  He puts on an act whenever he's dealing with media.  That was just his way of staying confident about not starting.

I agree. It just seems there's been more of them this year than last.

Didn't Jamar have an amazing B12 tourney last year, though?   :crossfingers:

Jamar's biggest struggles have been offense/shooting/getting fouled. Still solid rebounding/defense.

Jamar was the victim of some bullshit calls last night.  Coldcocking  Jai probably didn't help his minutes in the 1st half.  Nice to know we have him in our pocket any time he decides he's good at basketball again.

he's been playing really well, prior to the ut game.  blame ut on foul trouble and stfu.

He still can't ever make a goddamn 2-foot basket.  crap, even Jordan Enrique-Iglesias can do that now.

No one's debating whether JamSam is still adorable or not.  There's no question about that.

Jamar's play has been disappointing, at least offensively. I think he is struggling to fit into the new offense. Seems to pick up fouls very quickly lately as well. Seems as if he's almost been branded a player that the refs keep a close eye on.

Jamar would be fine if he stopped worrying about getting fouled under the basket and just "scored the ball"*.

* thanks Jim

He's certainly been getting extra attention from the refs. That said, I'm fine with him being our enforcer. Every Big XII team needs one or two of these guys.

Jamar could be a good experiment in FTrate vs. FT%

Nothing like watching JaSam doing an unnecessary double pump from 2 feet and not even drawing iron.
