Title: Brocco-Cheese Soup
Post by: CHONGS on January 21, 2011, 01:09:12 PM: It's giving me very bad 'urps. Broccoli always gives me issues in that area. I love the taste of it though. Any science wizards out there who can tell me how to eat all the broccoli I want without the 'urps? More kefir?

dumbass. it's the high fiber content of the broccoli that takes the stomach longer to digest. i don't think there is much you can do but i will consult with physician later this afternoon on subject. answer tbd.

Post by: AST on October 29, 2023, 02:32:09 PM: French onion soup time. Jazzed it up with some clamshell mushrooms because they are delicious and nutritious. Just dropped the bouquet and broth and it is simmer-time! Dinner is gonna be lit yo!

Also picked up some rustic sourdough and roast beef so I can make some french dips tomorrow. I love soup season!

Lol, thanks but we don’t eat all the time like this. Maybe 3-4 meals a month.

I'm getting this mental picture of you eating Great Value potato chips and peanut butter straight out of the jar for the other 86 meals that aren't epicurean feasts each month.

Yeah kids are absolute fools when it comes to food. Another example using quesadillas, my daughter doesn't eat the edge of her quesadillas because she doesn't like the 'crust'.

That's the thing, the cheese type doesn't matter. I have another kid who will only accept American cheese slices on her grilled cheese and cheddar on quesadillas.
