Title: Full on meltdown
Post by: ednksu on January 12, 2011, 10:35:52 PM
This is why we got Jim the eff out of here.

Frank can't coach worth a crap.  The players are there to win games.  Maybe not pretty, but they can win.  Frank totally lost control of this game.  The bullshit line about marathon and sprint doesn't apply.  We can't even meet the entrance requirements to get into the marathon with this kind of coaching.  We fired Jim because of this kind of bullshit.  Stop trying to "teach lessons" and WIN THE rough ridin' GAME.

Our players are pretty shitty.

We haven't beaten a BCS team for a recruit for anyone but Judge, McGruder, and Samuels.  For those of you scoring at home that's zero players since McGruder and Judge committed at the 2007 late night.

Wally and Jamar were having solid games.  Not amazing, but solid.  and wtf does frank do.....JHR for how many god damn rough ridin' minutes!!! No wonder Wally can't get into it. He is wondering why the eff he is pulled for playing solid.  Nick Russel steals from Burks driving the lane makes the entire offense move as HE ALONE goes coast to coast and scores.  WTF does frank do: TAKES OUT RUSSEL WTF WTF WTF.  I'm sick of this rough ridin' bush league coaching.

I feel like I'm back in my undergrad days of watching shitty ass Jim coaching.

You're all regurgitating the beaker talking points from 3 years ago. I think I'm going to have a meltdown inside a meltdown. Someone rescue me from limbo.

"beaker talking points" from 3 years ago was that frank was just a recruiter.  Retards.

They mentioned on the broadcast tonight that Frank tried to motivate Nick Russell by telling him that they picked him over Burks.

No. It was he is out of control, doesn't know how to coach, and was only hired to keep Beas/Walk. Doesn't matter, though.

I would trade any of our players (save Pullen and Kelly) for the following players on Wooly's last team:

Harris
Hoskins
Martin
Wright

Wright might be the only one that wouldn't be our 2nd best player.

why did miles only see 10 seconds of playing time?  seemed like he was the only one to drive to the rim other then jake.  I don't remember any bad TOs.  Unlike Sprads who could use dribbling lessons from 8th grade girls.  LEARN TO USE YOUR LEFT HAND FOR THINGS OTHER THEN FAPPING!!!!

Teaching lessons in ways that result in losses makes you a poor coach.

I don't think he is "the problem" he is 'a problem'.  This team is choking leads like a classy cat chokes dick.  Senior leadership = coach =/= jake

Holy Freakin Cow!!!
I had no idea that there were so many wanna-be talking-head sports commentators on this board  :blah: - like a fool, I thought a board named goEMAW was for fans, not second-guessing, know-it-all whiners and fair-weather purps who fade to pink when their parade catches rain.
Cac happens, teams go through rough spots, and coaching IS teaching - that's one thing all great coaches have in common, they're real teachers - teaching IS how you build and maintain a program. So take a breath (we're all bummed and indeed, angry about the season's start) and man-up haters.  One of you mentioned our EX throwing up his hands one game, but that's what so many of you are doing.  So call me pollyanna, fanboy, whatever - but, I'm an alum, a supporter, a true fan in all weather.

Jesus, a great season like last, and so many of you think we're a national powerhouse and expect smooth sailing - I hate to say it, but this sounds like a Squak board after one of their early exits in post-season!

ok - let the flaming begin  :jerk:

Sad how big Hoskins played as a 6-5 PF and we have a bunch of 6-9 guys who aren't worthy to tie his sneakers.  Lance Harris sucked balls though.  You should know that.

Monday is gonna get ugly.  Really ugly.  Like 90-59 final score type of ugly.
