....before you consider this question, rule out all sports except for football and men's basketball, because these are obviously the only ones that matter.
You can make a very compelling argument that we are the very worst in the Big 12. Even worse, you can make an even more compelling argument that we are getting worse.

Then who....who?

iowa state?

iowa state?
Better current facilities. Better football record as of late. Better home attendance in basketball even when terrible. ....there's an argument to be made on each side.
So failing that, we have second-to-worst locked up with a bullet.

I'd argue Tech is in a free fall right now and trying hard for the #12 spot. Save the "Tech won 8 games and a bowl" argument. They beat Northwestern in their bowl and their best win was Mizzu. They are nowhere near where they were in recent years and looks like they are on a steady decline. The basketball team is beyond horrible and getting worse by the minute. That puts us as the third worst program in the league.

Yes Pete, we are the worst. We are the absolute worst.

remember all those posts making fun of BMW and the KU athletic dept.??
wow, just wow.

At least we don't have Krause. We actually have a shot of getting out of the cellar with Currie. Not a good one, but it's a shot.

We'll be fine. He's bringing in $$$, which is the #1 job. We'll have better facilities, so if Frank needs replacing it'll be okay...he's already shown you can recruit and win at KSU.
Football will be okay, too, if he can deal with Snyder. Plenty of up-and-comers who will take it for at least a couple of years. Lots of upheaval in college football right now...the important thing is to have an AD who can read the curves. I feel better about Currie reading those than Weiser or Krause.
