Title: The floor for this team?

could it be this?

A few ku posters have been comparing this years cats to last years UT team but the obv comparo is the 2003-04 MU squad that returned 3 starters off an elite eight team and was top 5 preseason the following year.  As the link shows, that MU team lost every game to top 50 comp save for 2 wins v NU and OU - both non NCAA teams - and finished 16-14 (9-7) and went to the NIT.

I don't think we are that bad - we did not have a Belmont loss at home like that MU team did- but I would gladly take the 8 seed UT got last year and  :cheese:

Difference is that there are more games with at least one of the 3 starters from last yr on the bench then games where they were available to play.

The floor?  No, the floor for this team could one hell of a lot lower than 9-7 in conference.  Right now 9-7 looks an awful lot more like a best-case scenario rather than the worst thing that could possibly happen.
