Love Cleo, have pet MANY times. But, really, who needs a cat when you have a dog (boxer-type)

Hey guys got a question here. I saw a mouse outside my garage and i'm not about to have those little buggers infest my house. Now, I live in an old neighborhood with several feral cats and was thinking of just leaving some cat food around outside so a few would kinda hang around and maybe protect the house from mice. I can't have one in the house because I'm kinda allergic to them but only kinda.

Unforeseen negative consequences: I see none.

Well, if disgusting stray cats hanging around your yard waiting to be fed for the rest of their lives isn't a negative consequence, then you're fine.

Cats are great if you don't have to be around them in person.

Roomate brought home a kitten about 2 years ago he found under a deck, said it was just temporary and he was only holding on to it for a week.

Nope, still here but its pretty awesome. Its a "Hemmingyway" cat with SIX CLAWS ON EACH FOOT

my dog has caught multiple mouses.  landlord wouldn't do anything about them. then my dog caught 3 in a 2 week period.  either she killed all of them, or they decided to move out because all their friends were dying.

Nope.  buy one and dump it outside near where the mice are.  Sys may have a better scenario for implementing the snake idea, but this would be my idea.

If you luck out, you can get stray female cats, then they'll get pregnant, find a way in your garage, and have a litter.

Mouse problem solved.

Happened to my neighbor like 2 years ago actually. Then me and him took turns drowning the kittens for fun.
