I agree.  The real bummer is that it's not even very close.  Someday maybe, but not today.

Did you know that they have trains that travel to and fro all throughout the city?  Like, everywhere.  And here's the kicker, the vast majority is underground.

MHK has little buses.  On friday and saturday nights.  When school is in session.

No doubt about it.  MHNY makes MHK look relatively small timey.

Did you ever go into one of those delis and see the huge sandwiches they serve?  It's like, "Uh, yeah, I'll take the 'Roger Clemens'."  Then come to find out, the sandwiches is a full foot and a half of corned beef!  Are you kidding me with all that corned beef!?

Oh, want to go to a show?  In NYC you can see pretty much anything in the best theater district in the world.  Spiderman, Phantom, Wicked.

Or we could truck to MHK and checkout watch something called "cantus," an all male acapella group in Mccain, or head over to Mae's and watch some obscure local band.
I really like going and watching small timey bands at Mae's, but I'd say Broadway is better, still

Probably the worst front of an illegal biz ever.

By that I mean, they aren't even trying to make it look like something other than a whore house.

The only time I was ever in there, a stripper was having a yelling match with her boyfriend about him not wanting her "to have any johns tonight".

Been to NYC twice. Once in '98 then in '05, amazing each time. I'm kind of a movie buff too so it's cool to just walk around and be like oh that was in a movie or tv show. NYC is my dream city to live in with a good job....

Oh, and don't get me started on Times Square (I visit earthcam.com a couple times a week looking at their HD cams). Went to Planet Hollywood in '05 with a great view overlooking TS.

Sorry MHK, but it kinda seems like you are trying too hard now.

i like the squirrels in nyc better than the ones in mhk.  below are a couple of good quotes about nyc squirrels, btw.

Quote
"Everyone surprised!” said the private housing development’s groundskeeper, Jose Cavallo, referring to how people respond to the black squirrels. “They have the same personality. They have sex together with gray squirrels."

Quote
said a woman with a European accent. “They think they are the minks of the squirrels.”
