Lets say Bill doesn't want to fire Cosh and Currie forces the issue. This could led to a scenario where coaches and ADs go to war. I could see Bill trying to put his foot down and Currie trying to take control of the department and put his stamp on the program.
Who do our big boosters and old money types back?
I really have no clue. But would love to get some input from insidery types or Dax knowledge types.
-
I would say clearly Bill, since we was rehired for the exact reason of keeping the old money people around.
-
i think OB will have an edge now that the officials will have seemed to screw us harder than Cosh's defense
-
they will rough ridin' support anyone that wins, dipshits.

But our department was in CHAOS when he was brought back. He, in my opinion was brought back to calm to waters for the entire department not just football.
Currie has PROVEN to be a competent AD with a good plan to improve facilities and invest in coaching (Frank extend).

I think anyone who has watched our lynchmob realizes how much better we could be with JL waiting for a job.

I would like to believe this is true. :dunno: Haven't seen clear evidence either way though.

take a look at every successful football program for evidence. You really just have to win. Some people will get support even if they suck, but winners will always get support from money.

Ok we are winning a few games
snyder has proven he can win
curries has proven he is a winning AD so far
who does the money back if Snyder doesnt do what is right for the program?

It doesn't matter. "The money" isn't a group of complete retards, and it's currie's job to keep the money flowing no matter who is coach.

Its also logical to say that the AD is there to make sure the coaches are there and ready to win. Right now, not all of our coaches are proven winners.
My basic question is who the money will back if a power struggle ensues from this type of scenario.
-
I may not have any money, but I'll bring the torches and pitchforks for Currie's side.

Snyder is not in a position to usurp Currie for mandating a staff change. Everyone saw this season and heard the defensive rankings, it's not rough ridin' rocket science. Also if Currie were to mandate that we let Cosh go Snyds would march into his office, slam the door and then top gun high five him as he tried not to laugh while acting pissed about it, because I think bill would have an easier time with currie doing it for him.
-
If Currie has to force snyders hand he needs to fire snyder.
-
BTW, Lou literally laughing at our shitty defense at half was awesome
