We didn't have to go to OT and have them play footage from our last OT game.

Ya, Carson didn't make me want to start chugging a beer everytime he throws the ball like I normally do.

Yeah, CC was the MVP of the team far and away today.  He almost single-handedly kept us in this horrible game.

Carson is the Offensive Tyson Hartman.  Diff is Snyder vs Cosh.

Fully convinced at this point that Daris is Fitz.

This is going to blow FFF's mind yet again. He thinks it's unreal that we haven't been to OT in a million years. :emawkid:

It's an absurd fact.  Wasn't some team in OT like 6 times this year?  South Florida?

Edit: ok maybe only 2 or 3 times this year.

And that fake FG decision ends up costing us the game. Thank you LHC Bill Snyder.

That was a mind numbingly stupid call. Like Cuse was going to go for the block or something? Either way Ryan Doerr running for 5 yds in that situation is a pipedream. Not sure that the call cost us the game, as there were some other key eff ups...the Thomas overthrown TD to Tannahill, followed by the Cherry missed FG come to mind.

The worst Pinstripe Bowl performance was not on the field, but in the announcer's booth. Those guys were horrible. Griese starts the game saying the field looks great, then midway into the 1st quarter blathers on about how he was on the field before kickoff and noticed most of the field had poor footing. On Zimmerman's punt return that was called back (another key eff up), the play by play dumbass (anyone ever hear of this guy before today?) referred to him as Hartmann the whole time. I guess the only good thing from the announcing crew, no one ever called us the Jayhawks which happens way too often when we get on national TV.

They're always "mind numbing" when they don't work.  If, for whatever reason, it did work....we'd all be saying what a gutsy decision it was.  Cherry missing the FG didn't help anything.

I'm also glad we didn't go to OT. As if our defense could stop a team that gets to start on the 25 yd line.

I believe we have managed to avoid OT ever since the day I almost drank myself to death in STL and have done it in many amazing ways both good and bad - blocked XP in Farmaggedon 09, Klatt's 70 yard bomb in boulder 04,  :moreira: fumbling a punt in the last minute of a tie game vs CU in 05, etc

We've probably had at least a half dozen opportunities in the last 2 years alone with a tie or potential tie w/ under 5 to play.
