Pretty meh about it right now. Hopefully once the app store is up it will become cooler. Works great for Netflix/other video sites (minus Hulu).
It's complete crap for trying to browse the internet though. Horrible implementation of trying to used a regular computer browser for viewing from a distance. Haven't dug deep enough to see if there's a way to adjust the default font setting for websites yet, but it appears Google believes everyone sits as close to their TV as they do a computer monitor.

can it do espn3?

It will open ESPN 3, though it struggles some with it. More of a problem with ESPN's horrible site design for a video player than anything on that front. Hopefully that is one of the issues resolved when the apps start coming out. An ESPN 3 app would work quite well on GTV.
Chrome isn't a bad browser, but it's been stripped beyond belief to run on GTV. While it offers picture in picture between a web browser and your TV feed, you can't open tabs in Chrome and have to hit a button to bring up the address bar. Also, everything appears in full screen. Would be nice to offer a split screen between the browser and home menu or have at least one tab available.
I have the logitech version, which is actually pretty straight forward. I'm thinking that a couple software updates and the app store will improve the performance of what is essentially a pretty specialized media pc.
