Hearing things about hidden charges and such.

We've never had anything surprising on our bill....of course, we aren't dumbasses.

This...99% of people who have "billing problems" are doing something stupid.

I'm assuming the charges people are referring are to surcharges (USF can be "up to" 12.9%), Administrative Charges (again "up to" $1.99/mo) amongst other smaller fees/charges. Obviously there's a disclaimer, but I won't lie, I'll be pretty pissed if I sign up for the $70/month plan and get another $15 tacked on, plus taxes and end up around $100/mo when I'm expecting $70/month plus tax.
SD, you have the EVO right? If I go sprint that's the one I would prolly get. I thought there was a thread on your thoughts, but I couldn't find it. Good phone?

yeah, I like it. We have two EVOs and get the insurance on both phones ($7 per phone iirc) and our bill is $163. We get a 15% discount for where we work. So, plan on paying whatever that comes out to for you.

I should get 15% also. You have the "Anything Data 450" plan?

Yeah, I have the low minutes plan. You have to pay for the big 4g data plan even if you don't live in a 4g area for data so I have whatever that is for the data.
-
I too have the 450 plan and my bill comes out to right around $90 every month. All sorts of little fees on there but no different than any other company's surcharges, taxes, fees, etc.

Quit paying insurance and get a Squaretrade warranty. $99 for 2 years and there are ALWAYS codes for discounts. I have one somewhere for 35% off.

Well since I switched from Verizon to Sprint I get really shitty service now.

I've heard the people that work there suck, confirm or deny?

this is accurate. the government regulates what you pay in taxes. the USF isn't a tax but is managed by the govt like a tax.

this is also accurate
if you're worried about what you spend on your unlimited plan, sprint is your best bet

WHAT!!
Next time do some research

Most are actually great people that are forced to put up with piece of crap customers 8 hours a day. Catch them early in the day before they've had the chance to want to :goodbyecruelworld: and you're fine.
Also, they are trained to tell you everything is your fault and not put in the extra effort unless requested. My Evo's charging port was loose and would no longer charge. I took it in and the guy said it wouldn't charge because there was corrosion from water damage around the edges. He handed me a card and told me to call a number to get a replacement for $50. I called his bluff, said I saw no corrosion, and requested a tech look at it in back. I waited up front for 15 minutes and the tech came out with a new Evo; all contacts transferred; SD card transplanted, all pictures, games, etc remained intact.

are you the worlds only sprint customer without free roaming, maybe you need a non-shitty phone :dunno:
-
Love Sprint. I pay $50/mo for my Evo. My wife is $30/mo. No hidden charges. Only great customer service. And their insurance is retardedly good. I've never paid the deductible for any problems. They just fix it or give me a new phone.

I don't even see how that's possible unless your job gives you a massive discount.

Outside of a call dropping every once in a while, I've never had a problem with sprint (been a customer for 8 years). :dunno:

Hearing things about hidden charges and such.
I get my EVO through work, so I don't see a bill. But, truthfully, the coverage has gotten a lot better over the years. I used to have a lot of problems getting signals when I travel for work, but now I rarely have any issues.

I get a discount, just not that discount, but it's supreme douchey to drop the cost only so you can brag about it. Congrats on being that guy, though.

If you could still get the discount, I'd tell you how. Other wise, I'm gonna brag the crap out of it.

2 people paying $80 isn't that incredible of a discount, considering you can add a line for $10 but don't let me interrupt your douchey behavior.

Have had sprint for 11+ years. Never had any real problems. Considered switching a few times but found I would pay more for less features and would have about the same coverage and call quality.

Thanks for getting me the sero lines, btw.

Sprint is the best value this side of Virgin Mobile which would be a significant dropoff in what you get.

Yes, but it's very worth it. Ridiculously fast.

Sero lines are way overhyped - Evo wasn't available till 6 months after the gen pub could get it. You have to go to Town Center or the campus to get service. The employees see you're on a sero plan and don't make $ off of you so they treat you like cac. Don't believe his tomfooleries btw, no such thing as Evo $50/mo sero plan.
-
the current sero plan is apparently comparable to the discount some can get through their employer, so not as good as it used to be. there are $30/mo plans to be had on evo's if u can get an employee to hook u up with a employee-liable account

Sorry aunt Nancy and miss Fancy (look that up because Old Hickory was the cac) but you couldn't be more wrong. Way to cite google search as a reference lol. Haven't seen that since my 8th grade cousin had me proofreader his 200 word essay on Yellowstone.
Do me a favor and google search "formula one." I'll expect your report and 10 reasons why google search is only cited as a ref by Nebraskans shortly. TIA

Not sure you understand what the word "cite" means. you don't cite the library. You cite the book the information came from. Google search has no information. It facilitates the finding of information, something you need desperately.

No, I told you to research it so you know what the eff you're talking about you moron. "Google" can also be used as a verb. I was telling you to complete an action. Google contains no information. It is a gateway to information.
Not. That. Complicated.
But congratulations on avoiding that whole being completely wrong and focusing on stupid crap like this. Too bad you're still wrong.
