And Pryor for selling his Gold Pants.

Quote
Pryor must repay $2,500 for selling his 2008 Big Ten championship ring, a 2009 Fiesta Bowl sportsmanship award and his 2008 Gold Pants, a gift from the university.

By the way, they can go bowling? WTF NCAA

It's completely ridiculous that the university can give an athlete a gift with value, as long as that athlete doesn't sell it while he's still at the university. They should either not get gifts or they should be allowed to sell them.

What team got in trouble for selling books they bought with schollie money?  Did they get to play the next game or did their suspensions start immediately?

Good idea suspending Pryor when he's probably going to leave anyways. While we are at it, Pullen and Kelly should have declared ignorance of the rules. Maybe the NCAA would have put off the suspensions to next year  :flush:
