Title: I would be willing to put a lot of money on Jamar...
Post by: CrushNasty on December 22, 2010, 09:18:01 PM
Being involved in the most "double foul" calls per minute played. OF ALL TIME.

It happens a ridic amount of times w/ him.

It just makes me  everytime.

I have never seen a double foul called that I agree with.

Most of the time an official just uses it as a bail out b/c they really didn't see what happened.

I pointed this out in chat, but the officials using replay to determine the parties of that double foul is a blatant misuse of the replay rule.  You can not use replay to see who commits a non-flagrant foul.  Jamar got screwed.

Remember that one last year at ku and the guy literally had Jamar around his neck and threw him down on the floor?  That one was even worse than this one.

It was as pathetic a display of officiating as I've seen by a college-level crew in a long time. The guy who made the call was standing over there by the table, clearly unsure of who the foul was on.  He just blew his whistle because some guy landed on the floor. HUGE officiating no-no...making the call when you don't actually see the foul occur. If you see the foul occur, then you keep looking down there until you've got the #.

Sorry, but this game had the whole Los Vegas feel to it...I mean like the 2 top players suspended hours before game and a suspect officiating crew, whole thing smelled....don't think we were ever meant to win this!

Like it was yesterday, looking forward to this year - if were not up by 10 with a minute to go, we lose.

Jamar wanted it called on him because he only had 1 foul, and Freddy would have gotten his 4th.

Please. If Freddy would have fouled out sooner we might have won the game.

I was close enough to hear the conversation.
