...and K-State's best player is Will Spradling, will you guys go back to referring to basketball as a 2nd-tier sport?
-
Depends if our football team is still shitty.
-
Will Spradling won't even be the best player in our backcourt his senior year.

It depends on whether the Big 10 has broken up and we no longer are living in the long dark shadow of the greatest college basketball program ever to walk onto a court. That is until their annual March choke.

Yes. Behind baseball but in front of football.

i and the other 95% of college sports fan have never stopped referring to it as a second tier sport. it is what it is. really fun to watch, but it's just not that important to most college sports fans.

This. Football not only drives the bus, it fills the tank and chooses the radio station. Glad we aren't a loser school who has never won the north, or played in dr pep.
-
You just knew that after 2 Epic Fails; 1 being ku football and then the disaster that was the non hiring of Bubba, that Beems was going to go into, "I need to make myself feel better" overdrive.
Just glad I am here to witness it.

Using your logic, football is a 3rd-tier sport, since it's barely in the top 10 when it comes to the most popular sports in the world.

Well, in that case, I'd say 95% of college sports fans prefer March Madness to the BCS Bowl system.

That's great, but things like conference realighment had about 3% to do with March Madness and 97% to do with the BCS bowl system and/or its replacement.

Conference realignment was 99% about making more money for certain conferences.
