Give a goat.

I spent a really, really long time trying to think of a better x-mas song than Sleigh Ride. In the end, I was forced to conclude that it's impossible.
-
Jingle Bells by Barbara Striesand. Actually that's my least favorite. Probably the worst song I've ever heard, Christmas or not Christmas.
-
Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town by oscar Springsteen.
Some of the live versions are so good I listen to them out of season.

Quite a few effing idiot secular humanists in this thread nominating "holiday songs" for a CHRISTMAS list. Try again, go-to-hellers.
My vote: "Away in a Manager"...preferably a version sung by a elementary school child. Factually accurate, and emotionally stirring.
Second place: "We Three Kings"...preferably sung by Burt Bachrach. Again, factually accruate, and the baritone delivery conveys the solumn dignity of this imporant nativity event.

Not Christmas. LOL, if you are going to pick a good Jewish sung tune, might as well go with "Forever in Blue Jeans." Much better than Jingle Bells, IMO.

Excellent point, Pete. I often forget that heathens are eager to join in holy day celebrations, but not for the holy part.
Here is my favorite "We Three Kings" by Barenaked McLachlin. Lots of Jesus in here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGVNzgUxE-g

That's a great song, but still doesn't count because of Canadians.

I hate christmas songs about Jesus. Unless Jim James sings them:
