Title: Head KC Catbackers guy is a hero, by the way
Post by: Benja on December 11, 2010, 08:33:21 PM
At the hyvee on 119th today. Got there about 9:45 am and tix were already sold out. An hour later they got a few hundred more and they ran out with two people left in front of us. Nearly same thing happened to the other half of our team over at State Line hyvee. KC Catbackers guy said they sold over 1,000 tickets in a couple hours. It was nuts. He had the rest of us fill out a form with contact info and said he'll get whatever is left from the ticket office and send them to us. Promised our group specifically would get them. Good people those KC Catbackers.

Thank god for a person with a brain leading the "KC Catbackers." After the Big XII CCG in the SC last year I thought the town was run by everyone wearing red and blue.

Thanks for the update Benja. :emawkid:

KC is definitely a red and blue town.  Pisses me off.  KSU is like 3rd, maybe 4th (Nebraska) in town.

Any sporting goods store has a whole section of KU crap and maybe a table (if that) of a couple k-state t-shirts.
