I'm waiting for the Mangino-esque, "I am withdrawing my name from the Notre Dame job," moment.

"remarkable turnaround"
lol. Buffalo wins 8 games, wins the MAC conference then the next year goes in the tank.
REMARKABLE.
REMARKABLE!

As in Wednesday, March 31st at spring practice. Click on the photo. It's a file photo that they were too lazy to change the caption.
Ironically that's the least mumped up thing about that story. I feel pretty confident saying that Matt Tait doesn't have any real life friends.

Wow. I'd love to hear Matt's thoughts on how they could have gotten better right away.
Loyalty. Gill pledged to do a job here at Kansas. He has a plan. He stuck to that plan throughout an entire season and remained committed to it, even when the easy answer would’ve been to deviate a little in order to have a better chance at success right away. Because of his belief in his plan, in addition to all of the work he’s done in recruiting and developing relationships with his players and the community, I just can’t see Gill giving all that up. He loves his coaching staff. He loves his players. He’s got more on the way. He believes in what he’s doing here and doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who would be OK with not seeing that through.

Not everyone is :opcat:

Nice work, folks.
Anyone who didn't see the marked improvement in this team over the last five weeks knows even less about football than I do.

Exactly. They got better over the last few weeks of the season, and this team will continue to get better as Turner Gill gets his own recruits into the system.

Turner Gill is a good coach, a good person...check out all the other coaches at KUs first year records...Jabba the Hut was 2-10 i believe...and, by the way, whoae been knocking on his door, lately? In about 2 or 3 years, all you naysayers are going to be eating crow...
-
He is doing a great job.

That article is hilarious. Why is every KU fan saying they saw improvement over the last few games? I literally saw no improvement.

Because they had that big win at nebraska where they only lost by 17.
