Title: Spradling = Iceman
Post by: wabash909 on December 04, 2010, 08:01:49 AM
Spradling = Iceman

That's him, that's "Iceman". It's the way he flies, ice cold, no mistakes.

Doc Spradler.  When he operates, something else.

Doc Spradler.  He's a surgeon, but instead of those things that cut things he operates on people with a basketball and deep jumpers from three point land.

He's also Iceman.  Because it's the way he flies.

Doc Spradler.  Come on in to my office for a routine check up, except the office is the lane and routine check up consists of you being called for a charging foul followed by some grogginess and a little bit of unexplained missing time and some confusion as to why your pants are unbuttoned.

So like early, I said he was Washburn talent (got slammed here for that); then after Gonzaga I joined the bandwagon, got off after Florida. I can't blame him for mistakes due to his slowness (except inability to guard), but sped-up mistakes like the bad pass to Jamar is inexcusable for white bread.

Colorado went on runs of 13-0 and 12-0 and we scored 7 pts in 13 minutes (27-7 CU run)....... Sprads was on the bench every second

Down 51-40 in that CU game, Frank brought Sprads in and went 4 guards =   we scored 24 pts int he next 6.5 minutes

Today, Spradling played a lot in the 2nd half when we went on a 27-15 run to cut it to 3.

If he sucks so bad, how is it our team plays pretty decent when he is 1 of the 5 guys on the court.   Don't tell me he is sucking ass and our other 4 guys are on the court are just playing lights out.

He is nothing  special, but this team has FAR FAR bigger issues that the contributions that Sprads gives

If they are "performing decent" when he's on the floor, it doesn't mean it's because of him.  You cannot tell me based on today that we were better with him on the floor.

Post by: Powercat Posse on January 18, 2011, 01:09:42 AM
Well, i just showed some proof that when he was on the bench...... we put up 7 pts in 13 minutes vs CU.    That is pathetic. Completely pathetic

He barely played in the 1st half today and we got worked by 15.   Seems like when he is on the bench, we were not exactly tearing it up as of late

That is why i think it is hilarious that our best 4 players played like crap today and so much bitchin was done about Sprads
Pullen --- got owned on defense and was 1-5 from 3
Gruds -- had an off game for first time in a while. 2-9 FG 0-2 FT
Samuels --- 2 for 7 and only 3 reb in 37 min
Kelly -- 6 turnovers

I will say it again.  Sprads is a role player and nothing special.  We need those 4 guys above to play well if we want to be a good team.
