Talking with an OSU athletic dept. guy the other day, and he told me an interesting story.
In 96, Gundy was the QB coach at Baylor, and they screwed him over pretty bad and got rid of him after one season. Mike was not happy and decided that he was going to quit coaching and sell insurance. Les Miles called him one day and told him that there was an opening for the WR coach at Maryland. He got the job, and the rest is history.
Basically, I want to go back in time and tell whoever told OB to coach that he should just sell insurance instead.

Yeah, cause I'm sure KSU would have found somebody out there that was capable of getting things lined out a create a bowl capable program following the Air Parrish (well, actually the entire century) debacle.

Is it really even worth responding to that idiot anymore? The guy either has cornflakes for brains or else he hates K-State so much that he takes it upon himself to pose as a disgruntled "fan" on KSU message boards so he can amuse himself by attempting to stir up discontent and provoke others because he has no life outside of the internet. Actually I'm guessing both scenarios are in play here.
