Does this dude's home internet provider have espn3? If so, I think he can log in with your home internet provider login and/or an espn login and get it wherever he is.

Yeah, you can. If your home internet provides ESPN3, you can get it anywhere that has internet by just logging into your home account from the espn3 website (little drop down list from remote access button).

Aren't there sports bars in Canada? Since he's roughly in the same time zone, this shouldn't be a problem. Unless your Canadian friend is lying about his location... :surprised:

If he goes to espn3.com the Canadian version should come up. He could subscribe for a monthly cost of about $15 that he could cancel after Tuesday's game. It doesn't matter who your internet provider is in this case. This works in Europe so I'm assuming it would be the same deal w/ Canada.

My friend isn't in Europe, and he isn't in North America....we he goes to ESPN3.com, the site won't load, just flashes in and out like it's constantly trying to reload....regardless of browser type. He may be forced to do something awful...

pc, if you were going to travel abroad, wouldn't you at least take a few minutes to do some research and find out if whatever country he is traveling to would carry the #4 team in the nation? i mean, it's not rocket science. the friend was obviously a lazy sack of crap and didn't think about any of this. shame on him, i say.

I miss games all the time. BFD.

I miss games all the time. BFD.
BUT, do you ever try to NOT miss them?
This Canadian guy had tix to the game, but then his rough ridin' boss said he had to not be where the game was....it's complicated, but the Canadian guy is sick and rough ridin' tired of tons of BS and is just trying to make it through a very rough ridin' long day.
-
JFC, your friend should just kill himeslf for being a shitty fan and being generally worthless

No question.
However, he did pass along his tix to other emaw.
No one is more upset about this than my Canadian friend.

he should thank his boss. going to games is a pretty huge waste of time.

Use channelsurfing.net. It's legit. There are different methods for streaming, so every once in a while for me it's all, "You need to download this program thingy to watch this video!" but usually it just loads right up after a 30-second commercial. Use it.

what i don't get is, how did the canadian guy become a cats fan in the first place and why did he have tickets to the game if he lives in canada? is your canadian friend related to jouvle myles?

If by legit you mean free illegal pirated live sports and TV streams up the yin-yang, then yes. I suggest using adblock plus if you don't already, though.
However, I recommend you check Veetle (http://veetle.com/index.php/listing#80/popular/1) first. The playback is much smoother than other sites. They usually have at least an ESPN and ESPN2 stream. The only thing is you have to install the Veetle plugin, but this is a good thing because it's VLC-based (), not Flash (:barf:).
Often channelsurfing.net will have Veetle streams, but you won't know what you're going to get until you click on the link.

Oh yeah it's definitely super illegal. I didn't know that by legit he meant actually legit, I just thought he meant in the sense of 'will it allow me to watch my ksu qats at any cost?'

I know, I just thought it was funny and ironic to ask if pirated stuff was "legit." He probably just wanted to know if the site really worked and didn't try to charge money or infect your computer. The answers are yes, no and no. Same for Veetle.
