I wouldn't mind him putting some venom into our LB core next year.

I would bet that he would need Weis' Rascal with the back probs he supposedly has.

A&M hired Nguyen not too long ago, couldn't hurt to have him on the staff, doubt he would want to though.

Right, cause having a former All-American instruct one of our weakest points on defense in order to make them better would be a "stupid" thing.

We already have one dude in a wheelchair on our sideline. Don't need another IMHO. :users:

Dat Nguyuenyn is a high passion, out spoken kind of guy.  Siminenueuue is not.  Seems like Dat really gets off on it (coaching)...I have no idea if Mark would.

It just seems that if you have a giant pile of cash, the last thing you'd want to do is go work 20 hours a day for OB.  I'd love it if he really had it in him, but if he doesn't he'll never get fired (obviously) and could drag us down....the HUNGRY ones were the ones that made Bill great.

Hey, dipshits, why don't we hire Mike Bishop to coach QB's while we're at it?  :dunno:

I'm with Rusty on this one... Matt Miller was the Tight Ends Coach when last this ship was ridden into the ground. Let's leave the coaching to the coaches and the playing to the players. I'm sure Mark is a swell guy and I hope he enjoys his MONSTROUS digs that Im sure he will have in Smith Center. Thanks for the memories Mark - the end.

An all american who absorbed a decade of NFL coaching would obviously suck. Really, if it wants it, yeah sounds good. Doesn't sound if that's the direction he wants to go.
Think Beisel's  better candidate.

And parenthetically wondering what krusty's post count would be if he wasn't allowed to use the word Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)?

Beisel has played as DL, LB, and DB hasn't he?...would probably be better than just a LB.

Simoneau was a place kicker for the Eagles.  I'm not cacing you.  Their kicker got hurt, and he kicked some extra points.  (Not saying he made them all, though.)

In all seriousness, though,  at people in this thread who have absolutely no knowledge of Mark Simoneau's coaching capabilities whatsoever automatically disapproving of him as a potential assistant coach.

The reason no one knows if he can coach or not is because he has never coached.  Not sure if the Big 12 is the best place to begin your coaching career.  As for Dat @ A&M, didn't we hang like 60 on them last year?

And basically every cpach is a former player.
