See in the second half when we were down about 4 and Pullen inbounds and Jamar walks it out and re-inbounds it? Refs were turned around so it was not called travel or out but I was :ohno:

wut

I just assumed Pullen didn't actually inbound it, but rather tapped the ball to Jamar after the basket so he could inbound it.

There were a couple in bounds off of made baskets that could have been turnovers

Ya, the start of the second half was a mess. I was on that end of the court and know which one you are talking about. Thought it was actually the second in a row that could have been called.
-
Thought I saw that, too. But questioned myself because of no call.
It was just carelessness, but on a larger issue Frank's teams always suck at inbounding or some reason. Irving's crappity TO was a direct result of a pi$$ poor decision on an inbound play.
Maybe coaches haven't started scheming that phase of the game yet.

To me it was just Jamar's mindset that the forward should inbound to the guard and he wasn't thinking. But I almost had a heart attack watching it because it was that stupid.
-
not sure when in the hell a traveling violation would pop into your head on that.
also Jake sold it to the refs. He definitely gave Jamar a wtf look expecting the refs to call it. When they didn't he got the ball going down the court with a quickness.

Speaking of inbounding the ball, has Nick Russell ever inbounded the ball successfuly? Maybe before Frank has him take the ball out again, he should go watch tape of the Texas game last year. For whatever reason, it just isn't in his skill set.

this board needs more inbounding the ball threads

it does... it needs more threads about actual events while maintaining the current humor level...

I was more worried about the interior post passing the past couple games than inbounding the ball, but thats probably just me

I've noticed this repeatedly by our players in the last couple of years. Many times our guys aren't even full out of bounds while inbounding the ball. For what it's worth you see it all the time with other teams as well. It just rarely gets called, though I think it was called on the Cats last year.

The high-low against the zone was pretty good when we got it set up right.
-
I'll say, nothing, I repeat, nothing pisses me off more when no one stays back to inbound the ball.

They all fear the wrath of Frank too much for not getting back on D
