pfffttt, good one, if Duke's entire team dies in a flaming bus accident on the way to the arena and they had to forfeit I would rush the court.

And if you say agaznog really fast, it sounds like you're slurring the word eggnog.

So anyway... Not a torn Achilles, just a foot injury.  Out about a week.  Will he play on Monday (yadnomnoyalpehlliw)?

Gonzaga received some upbeat news regarding sophomore forward Elias Harris, who left Tuesday night’s game against San Diego State with an Achilles tendon injury.

From todays Spokesman Review (Local paper)

An MRI on Wednesday revealed that Harris’ Achilles isn’t torn, a source close to the basketball program told The Spokesman-Review. Harris is expected to miss “at least 4-5 days.”

“It isn’t perfect, but it’s not torn,” the source said. “It’s swollen and it’s going to need some time to heal.”

Harris’ status for Gonzaga’s game against third-ranked Kansas State on Monday in Kansas City, Mo., probably won’t be determined until this weekend.

The 6-foot-7 forward said Tuesday night he “heard something pop” when he tried to jump in pursuit of a rebound. He limped off the court with just less than 3 minutes remaining in the Zags’ 79-76 loss to the Aztecs.

There was concern that Harris might have torn his Achilles, which would have been a season-ending injury. Harris missed Gonzaga’s exhibition game against Southern Oregon with a slightly separated left shoulder. He returned to action in the season opener against Southern, scoring 12 points during a 117-72 win.

My gut says Elias Harris doesn't play in the CBE in Kansas City, but too early to tell how he responds. Be tough to beat K-State w/o him.
