Title: Good job, fans
Post by: hemmy on November 16, 2010, 10:03:31 PM
We together crushed VT's spirit. The OOD (jumped the shark, etc.) lived up to its rep in the 2nd half.

I have had a really bad sore throat for a week now, but that didn't stop this elite fan from yelling

Was even better when the students all pointed to the annoying VT fans sitting in the student section.

I hope the next person that throws crap on the court gets shot in the face, but that was a great result.

Why? Its so junkyardily awesome. The OOD anger bomb at the OSU game last year was probably were we as fans peaked.

Naw, I don't want to be like those West Virgina hillbilly wannabe's, throwing crap on the court is lame and played out. I'd rather us channel our junkyardy rage in much more elite ways.

Throwing crap on the court is like rushing the court.  We're too good for that bush league crap.

Not surprising from someone with Thoreau as a sig on a sports message board and some old honkey as an avatar.

Elite Front Row Dudes, please go tell that "Fear the Beard's" sign guy to GTFO unless he can spell correctly on a sign. That rough rider will be on every telecast this year. tia

Except, of course, chickens.  Live blue& red chickens.  KSU hoops fans can't be elite in any given season unless there's at least one chicken on the court.   :users:

On behalf of myself, Clownmeat, and Wabash 909's ghost, I'd like to publicly acknowledge the gentleman in Section 18, Row 12, who attended the game yesterday.

This guy - who probably posts on this board because he pointed out Cortez to me - brought a whole new level of agression, anger, and hate.  It was the perfect quantity and consistency of each emotion.  Not too much (if there is such a thing) of any one aspect.  Very vocal yelling and anger towards the opposing players was balanced geniously against a healthy quantity of hate and venom towards the refs.  Not spite, though.  Just pure, unadulterated rage.

One thing was obvious.. this dude did his homework.  definately broke down some film before stepping into the OOD.  Though he was new to Section 18, I almost felt as though he'd been there for years.

So, to you sir, I throw up a   :bball:
