Bad timing for a F. Brown thread, seeing as how we shot 53% from 3 last night. :dunno:

Unfortunately, I had to time it for when fred made seven threes. I'm sure he'll hit 7 a few more times this year when we are sucking and we can bump this son of a bitch

Not really since Fred shot 70% from behind the arc.   :users:

Louisiana Monroe.

Any discussion of Fred Brown should note that while he did shoot 70% from behind the arc he was closer to 17% inside it, 0% from the free throw line and had almost 33% of LaMon's turnovers.

sounds like Frank would still hate him/take him out after making 3 threes in a row

Freddy never was a big fan of the books

"Louisiana-Monroe (0-2) played without Kansas State transfer Fred Brown on Tuesday. Brown, who scored 25 in a season-opening loss at Texas Tech, remained home to deal with an academic issue and coach Keith Richard wished he could have done the same."

Now I have visions of Freddy looking like Robert Johnson, showing his coach how to open tune his guitar in a G ,and playing Stones riffs while dribbling a basketball off his foot

Ching- would "open scholarship" be a better player than Sprads?  Also-  I could have sworn Dax actually posted an entire line score for "open scholarship."  I must be mistaken, because I can't seem to find it in this thread.  :dunno:

It would have completely sucked to have sent Freddie into some games last year to fire some 3's . . . and LOL at all the dumbfucks who actually get mad when I say this.

Branderson Memorial Thread

RA went for 8 and 13 last night against BYU, USF lost in 2OT (Jimmer had 32)

He bounced back with 16 and 6 today against Knight Jr's crew, Went 5-6 FG's, 6-6 FT's in leading way for Bulls' comeback 64-61 win

Freddy getting buckets at a good clip(over 50% on 3's and averaging 16 PPG) but is a TO machine(4.5/game)

That 15 points would have been nice against Duke.  15 more points than open scholly gave us.

Heck, forget Brown, I would've liked Buchi Awaji against Duke.
