Wally is a beautiful young man.
QFT.
-
- off season been busier but all part of the job
- anytime I can give up myself to help this community and impact kids I will do so
- recruiting a battle you can't step away from. have to be proactive, my job & something I enjoy
- how does North Carolina handle expectations? Duke? I dunno. We weren't expected to do much last year and grew into a good little team.
-replacing 4 grown men with freshmen and sophomores.
- we will be who we are at the end of the year and that will be reality not what people think at the beginning of the year.
- every freshmen in todays day and age think they are the next big thing. he is ok with that and wants that. that is why you put people in place to handle that.
- jacob been great helping out with the daily grind and helping the lower classmen
- so much for ruining him his freshmen year by screaming at him eh?
- jacob has an unbelievable family at home. his mother and father holding him accountable. they have pressured him to represent the family in the right way.
- jacob has embraced the responsibility of being a great player. not just scoring but leading as well.
- will we have 1 dominant player like Denis? probably not but that is ok.
- excited about the guys we have in place but they are young but also "battlers".
- we are a much better shooting team collectively than anytime we have been here
- got a lot of guys that can line up and play for us (talking front court)
- everyone stays sharp and pushes each other which makes us better each day
- judge good summer and good preseason. really likes the way he accepted his role last year and likes what he sees in judge. excited for him and no doubt he will have a big year for us
- judge's surgery not to repair an injury but to release pressure. allows him to perform better and feel better. been battling it since the McDonalds all-star game.
- jamar should play friday. we will line up and practice today. jamar likes to feel right and comfortable. last week he didn't feel comfortable so he didn't have good practices so I told him to take some days off and we will get back at it on Tuesday.
- practice facility gives our players a place to go. a place to go work on their games, play 2 on 2, just plain of shooting. a solid one place to display the great history of the program
- james madison has parts in place. suppose to finish in the upper tier of their conference.
- its (james madison) going to be a hard of test to open up a season since we have been here
- television works and recruits like non other. a great way to show everyone who we are.

Frank mentioned JMU had a transfer from A&M, did a little digging looks like its this guy. Should be interesting to see how we match up against a big with a legit D1 body.

I hope this includes Martavious. One thing I've noticed in the exhibitions is that he is open. A lot. And he doesn't make many shots. Gruds, Russell, Pullen will hit a pretty high %, though.
Frank's sticking with the Jamar story, huh? I guess we'll see on Friday.
