rough ridin' 'tards have no rough ridin' clue wtf they're watching.
i mean it's hard to blame gpctards and other associated tards for thinking a wide open 3 is a bad shot if dumbass holthus and whoever the eff is with him are going mindlessly repeat that it is every time ou or tech comes down and pops a wide rough ridin' open 3 off one pass.
really bad defense in this game, btw.

Tech-72. OU-71 and dribbling up the court with seconds left.
Mitch: It looks like Ou is playing to win it.
Ya think? Dipshit.
-
man, tech games are so fun to watch. always ridiculous. i'd hate to be a tech fan, but for impartial viewing, they're incred.
-
x & o genius pat knight with nothing at the end of the game to get his team an open look. knight then gets lucky after giving up 2 open looks to ou in their last possession. good win for the texas tech techsters though. thought our trip to Lubbock would be easier than to Norman. rethinking. is OU going to be completely demoralized by the time we play them. or will we get their best shot :ohno:
-
OU loses at home on Blake Griffin night. :runaway:
-
which roadie is tougher? tt or ou? I say TT, but I think we lose both. :ohno:

I hate it when teams sit on the ball. They'd be better off jacking up a 3 w/ 20 on the shot clock.

once the game clock hit 35 (or possibly even 40) there was no reason for Tech to run the shot clock all the way down. :dumbstick:

This. I was incredulous as Tech bled the clock to about 10 before initiating offense. Why do that? Just to make it that much harder to find an open shot?
Of course the announcers didn't say a thing about it.

Yes, it's very difficult for them to comprehend why a wide open 3 w/ 27 on the shot clock is a better shot than a contested jumper w/ 5 or less on the shot clock.

Step back three. UGH! So selfish. The heat check is the most selfish shot in basketball. The second most selfish is the step back. Not what you want to be doing.

Ten game minutes later:
The step back three is okay if you're James Harden. Otherwise, no.

Wow this thread is nine years old
-
Damnit! I thought sys started a thread on the bball board. I mean, I thought he just did it, not 9 years ago. :frown:
-
I thought there was some better dumb announcer thread, but it must have been for football.

Yeah, it's the "can stan" thread.
-
To Dakich's credit (?), there was some long delay where the refs were reviewing video replay. When they were done, Dakich stand up, microphone in hand, yells, "WHAT'S UP BIG MAN," and the ref comes over and explains what happened to the TV audience. This was, like, just in the rough ridin' middle of the game. I'd never seen anything like it before.

Jeez did you see any T Rex bones down where this thread was?
