I'd worry, if I worried.
Will Cosh exist for us?
We could hope not, if it was worth anything.
-
PW, with your help WE can kill Chris Cosh
-
We could do that, but maybe he isn't financially secure and he and his family would suffer.
-
Coaches seem to get in the way in sports, in general.
Is one actually needed?
-
Bill's comments post game made it sound like Cosh may not be around to destroy Arthur. Does Bill finally have the balls to fire someone?
-
Luckily his sons education is set.
-
Hopefully he is given an amount of money to use as he looks for new employment.
We could do that.

I'm super intrigued by this. Mostly for BBSing reasons.

Good point.
Large burden lifted.
-
Blame Bill, Poet.

Please post comments. Feel free to make up additional comments for dramatization purposes.

We could.
Bill blames Chris.
We, maybe, stay out of it and don't blame anyone?

something about us not being short of talent on D just being super out of position and shittily coached and stuff
-
We have plenty of talent to stop Baylor 50% of the time.
-
Yeah... it's frustrating because if we had any semblance of organization and coaching on D, we would have won the game fairly easily. We entered the season thinking that a strong position on D was going to be the safety position, and a weakness was corner. It's been just the opposite as the safeties have taken a big step backward and the corners are the only ones making plays. Credit to Burns I guess (does he work w/ safeties, too?), but the blame has to be squarely on Cosh. Not only did RGIII destroy us, but Finley did as well. Pretty frustrated with that fact.
-
The mob is now officially dead...guess who's going to be sitting in the back of the plane tonight?....

"It isn't that we're undertalented, we're out of position."

Very telling post-game from Snyder tonight. If you've listened to him long enough you could tell he's super rough ridin' pissed.

this quote is scary to me on a few levels:
1 - bill has never fired anyone
2 - bill actually thinks it isn't a talent issue (and save the "what's he supposed to say? he can't throw the players under the bus" because he basically just threw his defensive staff under the bus).
3 - let's say bill finds his old balls and cans Cosh....bill hasn't hired a DC worth a sh*t since Brett. And even then hiring a new dc - one new coach - does nothing. the new coach can't make up for the absolutely sh*tty recruiting being done by the 7 or 8 other coaches. I mean, Bill gets to start all over....a clean sleat...in his second run and he goes out and basically hires the same bunch of f*cking retards that f*cked this program up to begin with.
-
The recruiting is really not bad so far. (This year anyway.) A new DC would make a world of difference. At this point, I'd probably promote Burns to DC for the remainder of the season and find another one in the off-season.

He definitely said that.

Recruiting is the best it's been in 6 or 7 years.

which is like someone telling you that you're only slightly Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) and taking it as a compliment.
-
We've got a top 40 class with only 14 commits. Our avg stars is better than TTU, who is ranked like 15th. The recruiting is decent this year.
-

Decent won't' cut it. We're here to win championships, not participation ribbons.

yeah I just think it's a funny talking point
-
Miami destroyed Arthur. Cosh certainly isn't the guy to resurrect him.
-
Bill knows we need to upgrade our talent. What he meant was that our talent is enough to beat a team like Baylor with players in the correct positions.

Don't be a dumbfuck
-
I feel better knowing that Snyder is shouting out, "rough ridin' Cosh!" just as loud on the sideline as I'm shouting it at home.
-
Looks like TTU has added some players since the last time I checked and now has a better avg star rating than us. And you're not going to just suddenly start pulling in top-20 classes after being so bad for the last 6 yrs or so. We need to end up around 35 or so this year, make a bowl, and make a push for a top-25 year next year. Then we'll start seeing top-25 type classes.

Are you Christopher Walkin?

Your tone is all wrong.

Can he fire himself too :dunno:
-
Here's a little nugget for you all which should DEFINE the  - this is the second game this season where someone posted school-record rushing stats against this defense, THANKS COSH! dick
