Nebraska scum identified as one of the 12 dirtiest players in all of sports.

"There is nothing incognito about Incognito." - Lap during 49-13
Also, in '03 during 38-9 when he hit the trainer's arm off of him. :horrorsurprise:
-
meh. he would have been treated like Pvt. Pyle, in the mid 90's for not raping any co-eds. Christian Peter is guffawing somewhere over this weaksauce list

Glad to see Nebraska is still the main topic of the KSU board..
-
Glad to see Nebraska is still the main topic of the KSU board..
glad to see NU fans still feel the need to come to "little brother's" boards
-
Glad to see Nebraska is still the main topic of the KSU board..
Glad to see you recovered from that beating you took at home when an unranked Texas team schooled you and made your coach piss his pants.

Richie was fun. When we pounded them at BSFS, I was sitting right behind him on the East side. The fans were giving him an earful, myself included. He turned around and flipped us off...I'd like to think he was gesturing at me personally.
Horrible human being...just like Tom Osborne.

His dad was a fantastic poster as well. Wish I could remember his name. Class A Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) just like son and very entertaining in Nebraska fan sort of way.

FWIW, Dominic Raiola was always discrete when he flipped us off: pretending to scratch his ear, etc.

At least we don't lurk Nubb boards, admit it, you are obsessed with us. You're like the guy that dumps his girlfriend but still shows up at the same parties her and her friends are at.

It's more pity than it is obsession. We just like to come here and remember how we used to talk when we were 17. It's like walking down memory lane without the acne and the obsessive impulse to masterbate. :ksu:

meh. he would have been treated like Pvt. Pyle, in the mid 90's for not raping any co-eds. Christian Peter is guffawing somewhere over this weaksauce list
Point well taken. I just think the list addresses dirty playing on-field, not throat grabbing rapes, public urination, assault, non-throat-grabbing rapes, etc. Maybe violent football play had a calming effect on Mr. Peter.

Peter was never disciplined. Leon Patton was off the team as soon as his issues became known. Big difference. Dr. Tom had to personally apologize to 1 or more of Peter's victims. After NU let Peter graduate of course. You can't let criminal issues interfere with your roster in Nebraska. What a lame comeback apologizing for a program that fights to keep absolute scum on their roster as long as it contributes to winning

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. (SI.com) -- Kansas State quarterback Ell Roberson was accused Thursday of sexually assaulting a woman at the team hotel, and his status for the Fiesta Bowl may not be determined until game time.
Kansas State sports information director Garry Bowman said coach LHC Bill Snyder would meet with athletic director Tim Weiser and school president Jon Wefald on Thursday night to discuss the issue, but said a decision likely will not be made until late Friday.
Roberson told police he had consensual sex with the 22-year-old woman, who is a Kansas State alumna and acquaintance of the quarterback, Paradise Valley police Lt. Ron Warner said.
Roberson was "very cooperative" with police and was released from custody around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Warner said.
Neither the woman nor Roberson were staying in the room where they had sex at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, Warner said.
Weiser said it would be up to coach LHC Bill Snyder whether Roberson plays Friday night against Ohio State.
"We are dealing with partial information," Weiser said. "To identify an individual, we think, is unfair. But we respect the legal system and the decision they made."
The woman told police she was assaulted between 3-3:30 a.m. The investigation began when the hotel's security office called police at 4:30 a.m. The players had an 11 p.m. curfew on Wednesday.
Medical tests were conducted but results were not expected until next week, Warner said.
A report will then be submitted to the Maricopa County attorney's office to determine if there is sufficient evidence to file charges, Warner said.
Roberson was not with Kansas State players at a pep rally Thursday afternoon, but rejoined the team for a 4 p.m. walkthrough.
The senior from Baytown, Texas, needs 57 yards rushing to become the third player in NCAA Division I history to rush for 1,000 yards and pass for 2,000 in a season.
The Associated Press contributed to this report
A member of the K-State football team was arrested this weekend, according to a release from the K-State University Police Department.
The release said around 1:45 on Sunday afternoon K-State Police responded to a hang-up 911 call from student housing. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found probable cause to arrest K-State running back John Hubert for alleged domestic battery.
The release also said the victim was a female student known to Hubert and Hubert was cooperative with officers.
Lt. Herbert Crosby Jr. of the RCPD said Hubert arrived at the police department after the arrest and later bonded out for $1,500.
Pot meet kettle. Seems to me Ell still played in the Fiesta bowl after sexual assault. Don't make Snyder and KSU out to be so innocent and pious. I found these two gems after only 3 minutes on the net.
What you pin heads don't get is that NU is high profile, front page news. KSU is relegated to the back pages. If I took the time I could dig up alot more dirt on you as well. Unlike you I can't just go to the front page, I have to go to the end of the paper and dig through all the other losers.

You should be proud of nebraska's reputation as criminal U, I would be. Shows Tom will do anything to win. That's a good thing.

Gotta be honest, Incognito was my favorite football player when I was in high school, aside from Nick Leckey and Ryan Lilja. Richie would pancake a dude, push his helmet back down on the ground, then step over him as he walked back to the huddle. Total stud boss
His problem is he just doesn't take any crap and is a hot head, which is the best type of mentality for an offensive lineman to have. They said on ESPN that the guy outside the club was egging him on and punched him first. Chumps that get pushed back down on the turf shouldn't have gotten pancaked in the first place.
He is a beast I was at the Texans game on Saturday and watched him the whole first half.

Yep, such a stud boss that he was inches away from having his jaw fractured from his own helmet after he got punked.

Saw that in SB Nation or somewhere like that. The article made a big deal about how the DB pulled Incognito's helmet off, but when you watch the replay, it's pretty obvious that Incognito punched the DB with an uppercut on the DB's chin. I'd be pissed too.

also of note is that you think antonio smith, all 280 lbs of him, plays defensive back

DE, BFD
-
Watch the whole play! Incognito had him locked down in pass pro and was mashing him. Smith got frustrated because he was getting owned and ripped his helmet off. I was surprised at the amount of restraint Richie showed by not whooping him after that happened.
There seems to be a lot of bad blood between him and dlinemen in the NFL. I guess its because he's dirty, kind of a modern day Dobler. But why wouldn't you want this dude playing for your team? I'd take him on the Chiefs so quick your head would spin.

FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports Dolphins RT Jonathan Martin's (illness) absence is considered "indefinite."
He'll be placed on the reserve/non-football illness list shortly. It's believed LG Richie Incognito -- one of the heads of the Dolphins' team leadership council -- was at the forefront of the "bullying" that led to Martin's mental meltdown. The Fins will move forward with Tyson Clabo at right tackle.
How does he keep finding work?
-
Looks like Incognito may have a bit of a problem after all.

Another former Dolphins employee told me Martin is considered "soft" by his teammates and that's a reason he's not readily accepted by some of the players, particularly the black players. His background -- Stanford educated and the son of highly educated people -- was not necessarily seen as a strength or a positive by some players and it perpetuated in the way Martin carried himself.
And so -- agree with it or not, comprehend it or not -- this is a reason the Dolphins haven't turned on Incognito as a racist.

I've said it on here before and I'll gladly say it again. Football players are easily the dumbest, most socially inappropriate athletes in existence. The culture that manifests within the sport is disgusting, it has been forever and this will do very little to change it. Incognito will take the fall for this but every veteran "leader" on that team all share equal responsibility. The sport is flush with simple-minded rubes who only know about the moronic concept of manning up. The NFL locker room culture is ran by ignorant country boys, white and black who decided to make a living running their heads into monsters, over and over again. This should be another huge step to reforming the culture of the NFL but it won't because the consumer on the whole are Pavlovian drooling fools.
The under-reported aspect of this is the rampant extortion going on in Miami's locker room. We know that Incognito made Martin pay $15,000 for a trip to Las Vegas that he didn't take. The Dan Lebatard Show has been playing a clip this week where they had Incognito on last season. Incognito said he and Mike Pouncy (Pouncy seems to have surrounded himself with psychopaths, speaks to him I guess) were going to force a rookie player, sounded like Ryan Tannehill, to go and buy the entire offensive line new jet skis. When Lebatard questioned Incognito on whether or not they should be doing that, his response was that the O-line protects his ass and if he didn't do it, they wouldn't protect him. On Monday Lebatard had the Dolphins beat writer for the Miami paper, Adam Beasley, on the show and Beasley said that a rookie on this years team has spent $100,000 on things that the O-line has required him to buy. There are stories of guys who make $260,000 after taxes having to foot a $50,000 bill. All of these people are disgusting humans.

Absolutely, this is what happens when talented, entitled people gather in one place, but the football culture is the absolutely worst. Even now, after what is being reported which is obviously a small bit of what has happened there, Dolphins players are speaking up for Incognito. Look at all the anonymous quotes from NFL players and front office players calling out Martin, faulting him for not handling the problem "like a man," its disgusting. I will credit London Fletcher for going on the record and calling out the Dolphins leaders for this issue. Even though I do feel like something to this severity could only happen in the NFL, I don't think that this is standard for every locker room. There are plenty of tough guys that are decent people like London Fletcher.

did you guys see ingognito threaten to fight the espn guy on twitter yesterday or the day before or whatever?

Good points. The culture is absurd at times; there are reports that the coaching staff directed Incognito to "toughen up" Martin as well.
That crappy leadership is probably a big reason why the Dolphins are 4-4.

I think every team has a few wacko's like Incognito. Some of the stories you hear about Charles Haley with the Cowboys are just way over the top compared to even this. I think the difference is that Incognito somehow become one of the team leaders for the Dolphins. So that type of behavior just took over the culture of the team and got out of control.

That was a great post, MIR.
I heard the Lebatard segment as well as it's on ESPN Radio here (not some local guy). Richie was completely serious, I figured that rookies got shaken down for a lunch or $200 bar tap. Richie came across as a complete dick.

It'd be very interesting to see how this played out if it wasn't halfway through an NFL season. If this goes down in the off season, there probably isn't as much Anti-Martin sentiment. They are pissed at him because he abandoned him and took Incognito down with him.
But Incognito has no excuse for being a complete piece of crap. It's pretty mumped up that the entire locker room is defending him, but the "honorary" thing is so rough ridin' stupid.

He should be rewarded NOT suspendered!!!

That wasn't actually a post from Richie Incognito's father.

Incognito looks super fat next to Martin all other humans.
Playing football is a man’s job, and if there’s any weak link, it gets weeded out. It’s the leaders’ job on the team to take care of it.
Article basically accuses Martin of being TC, FP, etc

I had to look up his definition of "Hurricane Illegitimacy." It's long and after about two sentences I was like,"Fuuuuuuuck that."

Not only that but he was released before Martin's rookie season even started, why was this even published?

I have done zero research, but was Lydon let go because Martin was drafted? If so, then I could totally see why Lydon doesn't have a dog in the fight.

Time to launch an investigation into Lydon's involvement with dog fighting rings.

You knew with a Nebraska player involved there would be an assault on a woman who wants nothing to do with them.

$20 says Detroit lets him go to free agency and San Fran picks him up in the off-season.
