This is what he says about K-State. Talks about Wichita State too if you want that....
Kansas State needs to win the Big 12
K-State is coming off a magical season that ended at the Elite Eight. It's clear at this point that Frank Martin's program is here and it's here to stay. But what is ironic is that while their nonconference play was stellar and their image has never been more positive nationally, the Wildcats were the second-best team in their state and the vaunted Octagon of Doom was not filled with all that much doom for opponents. Not only did rival Kansas walk away from Bramlage Coliseum with a win, but Oklahoma State and Iowa State did as well. With KU losing a ton of talent and the "South" team being down overall, K-State is in prime position to win the Big 12 for the first time. Transfer Freddy Asprilla, a former Sun Belt Freshman of the Year at Florida International, should give the Cats more back-to-the-basket scoring and Jacob Pullen is a fearless shooter/scorer/leader. If Will Spradling can help create more shots than Denis Clemente, look out. KSU has Final Four potential. Will it be tapped?

Thanks. not too worried bout WSU

Since they are an opponent here is the Florida bit as well.
Florida needs to make a deep NCAA run
No team out of the SEC seems more poised to make a conference and Final Four run than the Gators. With all five starters back and a very solid group of freshmen coming off the bench, UF can at least dream of being back to 2006-07 levels. There are other contributing factors that help too, like Tennessee losing three of its top four scorers from last season, South Carolina graduating Devan Downey, Georgia not having won before (especially on the road) and Kentucky using talented but inexperienced players across the board. Florida may not have a true point guard in its starting lineup and Kenny Boynton might not shoot it as well as the Ben Gordon comparisons would lead you to believe, but the experience he and Erik Murphy gained last season will be invaluable. Also helping the Gators is Mike Rosario going at them in practice, the effort of Patric Young (though he may foul out in 10 minutes), late signee Cody Larson (thanks to the coaching change at Iowa) and Billy Donovan having the same staff for the second year in a row (a rarity in Gainesville).

I will be very dissapointed if we lose in the OOD this season. The DOOM needs to come on strong
-
Does K-State need to win the Big 12 more than he needs to learn how to shoot free throws?
-
We've been shooting them well enough to whoop OU's ass.
-
A 2nd place finish would be rly disappointing.

he was talking about gottlieb.

Clearly went over my head. He's a wily one.

I bet K State could miss every free throw shot in Manhattan this year and still defeat OU. Idea to make game interesting, have Gottlieb be the color commentator and also shoot every free throw (or the first 20, whichever comes first) for KSU in his suit and tie.
Huh, huh?

I love that Will Spradling has suddenly become the linchpin to the entire season. Very weird.

Frank says Sprads is, "Absolutely shooting the cover off the ball." Media could just be running with statements like that.
