no tv?! :bawl:
-
Last time I had to listen to an entire game on the radio was @OSU in 2007. Needless to say, I'm not looking forward to this one.
-
Me & three other EMAW's. <---Apple juice since I'm not of age yet. :frown:
-
I went there a couple years ago. It's very possible that there will be as many K-State fans as Baylor fans. No joke.
-
I refuse to spend more than 4 hrs in waco. So, if there is OT, mark my words, I'm leaving that bitch early.
-
I planned on going to either the Baylor or UNT game. I chose UNT, that's how bad Waco sucks.
-
This thread isn't for your excuses. It is for the exceptional emaws headed to Waco to support their favorite team.
-
will be there.
:peek:

"Win or Lose, we'll still burn your POS stadium to the ground."
(Ging and Dlew12's mantra this weekend)

But then FEMA and insurance will build them a new stadium, it will improve recruiting due to new facilities, and ultimately kick K-State right in the ass... Great thinking.

FEMA won't help unless it is a natural disaster. Insurance should take care of it though.

On the fence. Is there a katpaker event in Dallas post-game? No way I'm "partying" in Waco....I'd wake up part of a cult or something.

JFC being Baptist isn't so bad that it would outweigh a festive night in a college town. Relax.
-
A festive night in a normal college town....I agree.....a festive night in the buckle of the bible belt where drinking is still considered by some to be a mortal sin? I'm headed back to Dallas (+ cheaper rooms in Big D)
-
yeah, you are right. party at bigDcat's place.
-
Going :gocho:

He's so rich.
-
I'll be there, this makes 7th out of 12 big 12 venues and I'm pretty jacked!
-
Okay freaks, lived there for over a year. If the Continental Cowboy is still there (off of Franklin and something) you need to go there. Saw more mumped up crap there than anyone should ever see. It was like a bad 'b' movie on a regular basis. I crap you not.. Worst year and a half of my life but the stories, man, the stories.... :ohno: :ohno: (ftp://:ohno: :ohno:)

Thanks. We are in the market for "mumped up crap."

going.
-
I'm going. Not staying in Waco though because it sucks and my friend lives in Ft. Worth.
-
Worst college town I've ever been to. Makes Okie State seem somewhat cool (it's not). Stadium is disgusting, crickets in the trough urinal and no doors on the stalls (circa 2006). Go back to Dallas and drool over the littany of blonde hotass babes (fake one if you can).
Also, I'll be there but will not be meeting anyone from the internet
-

I bet there will be, but considering how few fans there were at the KU Baylor game, we don't need to bring many to match them. They'll be lucky to fill their stadium halfway. Sad and pathetic fanbase.

I have a feeling there will be more Baylor fans than we expect. Probably just me being an irrational lunatic though.
-
also going and also not staying in that craphole town. gonna split the drive down and back and stay elsewhere.
tickets are in section "T" seriously...lettered sections wtf
also will likely stop at the "salty dog" b4 the game. i guess powercat gameday will be there so maybe some KSU fans too. if it sucks then will just head to the stadium and tailgate.
-
Does Powercat gameday mean fitz shows up, eats like a human vaccuum and creeps out the waitresses?

Yep. THAT'S POWERCAT GAMEDAY! (said with overenthusiastic wyatt voice)
-
considering going...what section is the K-State section in Waco? would try to get tickets close to that :ksu:
-
I've got stuff I have to do in the morning. Haven't decided if I'm going to make the drive or not yet.

When I went, the K-State section was in section T and TT.

Alright, so where is the "bar district" in Waco?

Alright, so where is the "bar district" in Waco?
My only trip to Waco was for the debacle 4 years ago. There are some restaurant/bars downtown (use Franklin Ave. and University Parks Drive as a reference point). Also, there are a few bars south of campus, but I've never been to that area of town. George's sets up a beer garden east of the stadium on gamedays on Dutton, I think between 30th and 31st Street.
