Seriously? A top 25 BCS team playing a 5-1 team from the Big 12 South?

So...you're saying angry email campaign?
-
another advantage to a 10 team conference is a better chance of being on TV.
can't wait for the new big 12 :pbj:
-
dudez, baylor is just trying to lay low right now
no big deal
-
Damnit. Why does everybody hate us?
-
May I refer you to the K-Stateo poster?
-
Baylor fans don't want TV, they're trying to set an attendance record.
There's also discussion on "not tearing down the goalposts".
We are everybody's super bowl.
-
Well, it sure sucks to suck, tv market-wise. I knew that from the summer re-alignment train wreck, but you really want to pretend that K-State is normal. Then this happens and reminds you of who your school is.

If they tear down the goalposts, it will help ease the pain of losing not on TV

How hard would it be for K-State to send a camera down there and stream the game on kstatesports.com? Seems like it would be, like, really easy.
The fact that I'll be following this game in the exact same manner that my great grandfather would have in the 1920s makes me want to murder somebody.

I like to pretend Wichita is on even footing with the Denver and St. Louis markets.

5-2

we're probably not that far away from some kind of app that will allow you to stream things. then people can just take cellphones or whatever and broadcast on their own. i mean can you even imagine listening to a cats game with 0506 commentary?

Seriously? A top 25 BCS team playing a 5-1 team from the Big 12 South?
5-2
Everyone keeps predicting a loss, I'm curious how many of those folks were in the "we WILL lose to ku" camp about this time last week

yeah. drive 70 minutes south and get a Virtual Reality radio experience.

There are cameras at every single FBS game, every one. Live streaming on a schools website violates the policy of the Big 12 and every other major conference. The game will be replayed on Big 12 no huddle next Tuesday at 7pm.

2 of the bottom 4 tv markets in the B12
And herein lies the problem with the existent B12 television/revenue arrangement. Weren't Ath. Dept's. told that if quality football programs were fielded and played in appealing/consequential games they would be rewarded with television exposure and the added financial benefit of said exposure?
As a KSU fan I know my place and I know who we are, but KU v A&M is ridiculously terrible football television whereas KSU v Baylor has some implications. But, has KSU v. Baylor ever been televised?

Baylor is 5-2, Broseph.
But I fully expect to lose. This is a MUCH better team than KU.
-
KU vs. aTm at 6 p.m. FSN. Must see TV there.
-
To be fair, they made this decision a week ago after Nebraska blew our doors off. To tv execs, we probably looked about as unattractive as KU in terms of football team suckiness despite our record. KU has more of a presence in KC than us, A&M has the Houston/Dallas markets. At that time, it looked like both games would have about equal implications for suck. If the implications are equal, you go with the bigger markets.

So is every other team we have played this year. Well, I guess MO State is only slightly better.

aTm is a top 4 B12 TV market and KU >/= K-State.
-
I dont consider Kstate a top 25 BCS Team. I just cant see it.

Don't worry. You will see it on the bottom line of every televised college football game this week.
Are there any 5-1 BCS teams that are not ranked?

Television is always based on ratings and never based on "feel good stories." KU vs. ATM might be a horrible game, but more tv sets will be watching than a KSU vs. BU game. It's a business, and games will always be aired based on viewers. Just something that we, as KSU fans, have to live with.
-
I'm surprised FCS didn't pick up this game. They've had a game every week this year, but none this week.
-
Three Saturdays in a row without any Kazzuu football. :frown:
-

aTm is a top 4 B12 TV market and KU >/= K-State.
This isn't an issue for non-national broadcasts, the advertising dollars are already set, and the ratings for all regional broadcasts are nearly identical, even across conference lines in the same broadcast window.
-
Is there any consolation in little brother Texas not being on tv either?
-
Just go to the game guys. Like elitist Pett. :gocho:
