Depending on the source, it looks like the line is moving quite a bit.

Setting that line has got to be like winning money at Keno???  If the O/U comes in around 50-52 we'll know they don't have a clue (just like last week).

Might be a good one to tease with uk (call it the "Sunflower Teaser"  :flush: images of Todd Reesing) or my bet, NU to cover at OSU (while blowing them out)

I think we will be able to run the ball effectively and control time of possession. This should help keep Griffin's numbers from being too godly. Should be a great game.

I gotta think that the baylor game will be similar to the Nu game, only RG can pass too.

We are mumped.

Nebraska's defense is much better than Baylor's and their offensive line is also much better. We will give up a ton of yards, but if "Bend but Don't Break" Cosh can hold them to field goals, we might steal the game. Our fanbase seriously puts way too much stock in the QB position.

This. We won't face a faster D and their Oline dominated our D. Baylor is a different animal. I think it will be close to the spread.

This.  Griffin will present a lot of problems, and Baylor has a nice, balanced offense.   But just because they have a running QB doesn't mean he will go T-Magic on us.  Granted, BU's offense could very well be as effective moving the ball as ISU or CFU, but those offenses scored 13 and 17 points against us.  It will be an interesting test, but I don't expect BU to run away from us.  _FANalysis this week (expect it Tues PM or Wed AM) will review our offensive performance in Lawrence, then look at what BU will present offensively/defensively and what the Cats might do to take advantage of their weakenesses.

The good news is that, as road games go, the crowd won't be much of a factor, if any.  Have you seen the turnout for any of their earlier games?  The stands at KICKOFF looked like end of the 3rd Qtr in Lawrence last week.  Just sad.  :users:

some interesting stats from bu athletic site:

Quote
For the first time since 1995, Baylor (5-2, 2-1) is playing for bowl eligibility status when it hosts Kansas State (5-1, 2-1) for the 79th Homecoming game Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium. Baylor, which is tied for the most wins by a Bears team in the Big 12 era, has scored more points in three conference games (124) than it did in eight Big 12 games in 2009 (104). The Bears' offense has been so impressive that it has scored 30+ points in three games to start conference play for the first time in school history.

Sophomore QB?Robert Griffin III, the Big 12 leader in total offense, has completed 75.2 percent of his passes (79-of-105) in three Big 12 games this season, throwing for 998 yards and a 172.03 passing efficiency. Griffin III has thrown for more yards in three Big 12 games (998) than Kansas State has thrown as a team in six games (966 yards).
Quote
Baylor has posted three straight games with 500+ yards of total offense for the first time in school history (school-record 678 vs. Kansas on Oct. 2, 507 vs. Texas Tech on Oct. 9 and 543 at Colorado on Oct. 16). Baylor is 37-7 all-time when registering 500 or more yards of total offense, including a 7-0 mark in the Art Briles era.

K-State might be their only shot. After K-State, Baylor plays at Texas, at Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.

They have a very, very good chance of beating Texas A&M.

I think this is going to be an almost mirror image of the UCF game in terms of difficulty, but Baylor doesn't have as good of a defense as UCF does.

That said, RG3 is a very, very dangerous player and they will move the ball.  The ultimate question for us won't be if we can win a shootout, but it will be how much time we can kill by running the ball effectively.

THANK GOD they continually referred to him as Griffin III... I could have EASILY confused him with Griffin Jr OR Griffin Sr.
